We bought this to replace a signaling device we had used with our old mailbox, as it's some 400 feet away and not visible from our house. This one is much better protected from moisture, so it should last longer than the last one. It is designed to work outside, but if in a mailbox, it should be a plastic one so the signal is not reduced. It is loud and the set-up includes a variety of “songs “ that will play (or not...) when someone opens the mailbox. Multi-color lights flash, too. It can't be ignored if you're home when it goes off. Fortunately it plays just once. It operates by batteries which are easy to replace. The base/speaker unit can also be powered through a usb connection. One improvement would be if the lights could remain “on” until the unit is reset, as a reminder.

It work as it suppose too. But having owners manual will be much nicer.

dont waiste your money. it works great if your holding but the min you attach to a door or gate the red light flashes and it no longer works. but put it back in your hand and poof it works again. JUNK JUNK JUNK

Garbage dont waiste your money

I like the visuals and sound. It is a shame that the base of the device did not pair with the sensors. Also the directions were not included in my package, so had to find them on line. Once I did that, the directions were difficult to follow. I sent the seller a question, but it was not answered. Will be returning the item.

I bought this for my mailbox. It works fine till it is in the mailbox. Seems like the signal can't get through the metal.
