They work exceptionally well. I used them on the doors of my house. If you have children who leave the doors open these are a must have.

Great little alarm if you're in the market for one
I purchased a pair of these alarms. One for backup and one to put on my upright freezer door. Works great. It has different sounds and activation times for several different alarm uses. It has a super loud instantaneous alarm for places like windows and doors or wherever else you'd want to know immediately something was opened, a momentary doorbell alarm, all the way down to an alarm reminding you a door/window is ajar. That particular one works perfectly for a freezer door application and is plenty loud. It's a great little alarm if you're in the market.

It takes 2 AA batteries that are extremely hard to get in and once you do get them in it didn't last a week. I used brand new Duracell batteries
