This is the best tasting real bologna! I have bought this in a 1 pound piece and put it through my meat grinder. Now that I don't have a grinder anymore, I will buy it in slices and chop it up. Add Mayonnaise and pickle relish. Stir, cover and refrigerate overnight. Best made sandwich ever!
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to express my strong fondness for a particular brand of bologna that I've enjoyed since childhood. It's truly a special product to me, and I've been eagerly anticipating its return. I'm wondering if there's any information available on when this beloved item might be restocked. Your products hold a lot of nostalgic value for me, and I'm really looking forward to enjoying them again.
Great price and taste. Makes good fried, or not fried sandwiches. I appreciate being able to order it in quarter increments. I do wish we had the ability to order thin slices, as sometimes it's nice and thin, and other times it's slightly thicker. If you like bologna, try it, so much tastier than prepackaged.
I gave recommendations with a comment. Ask the deli person to slice it thinner than sandwich thickness. I have gotten 1/2 lb of deli sliced meat and received 4 (FOUR) slices. That person did not understand the concept of thinner or perhaps it was someone who hated to use the slicer.
I wanted it fresh from deli sliced wafer thin but I believe it is not fresh sliced as it was not wafer thin sliced I believe they keep giving me the sliced uped ones that sit in cooler in front of deli! I do not want those!
This is not the 1st time this has happened. This is NOT Wunder Bar German Bologna (WBB). WBB is a larger circular size. This is quite small. It is also spicier than WBB and is greasier and has a rough texture, as you can see in the picture. WBB has a smooth texture. And yet they charge me as if it is WBB. I don't know if whatever brand they are selling me is more expensive, cheaper, or the same price per lb. but they charge me for Wunder Bar Bologna. I also always order two pounds and never get two pounds. I get one pound or zero pounds.
The bologna is good but was sliced pretty thick. This is probably efficient for labor time but makes for a slightly disappointing sandwich. If I wanted thickly sliced deli meat I would have bought Oscar Meyer.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BY I EAS GIVEN THE BUTT ENDS AND SLICES ARE TOO THIN!! I LIKE MY BOLOGNA CUTE MEDIUM THICK AND CENTER CUT. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ASKED BY SHOPPER MY PREFERENCE OF THICKNESS WITH MY DELI MEATS. A REFUND TO MY CARD WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. ALSO THE LETTUCE IS OLDER THAN I WOULD BUY, THE ENDS AT THE BOTTOM HAS A LITTLE BROWN TIPS.
The bologna is bad. Grayish/brown around edges, slimy and smells funny! Cannot consume! My last purchase of this same bologna came sliced with the red wrapper still attached to each piece. I was able to pull wrapper off each slice! I’ll do my future fresh products shopping at another store where deli products are unwrapped and also not gray/brown, slimy and smells funny rotten.
Bologna was green around the edges, which means it’s old. Throw it away instead of sending it out to people who are having their groceries shopped and delivered. Then you have the nerve to ask for me to bring it back to the store for credit. If you want it vac, send someone out to pick it up!
