WWE: The True Story of WrestleMania [Blu-ray]

This is a great title if you know nothing about Wrestlemania or thought you knew everything about Wrestlemania. While I knew a lot of the facts presented about each Wrestlemania, there was plenty I didn't know about. The documentary itself runs over 2 hours and touches on just about every single Wrestlemania, whether its briefly or for a full piece. Comments range from Vince McMahon to Triple H to Steve Austin to The Rock to Harley Race to Hulk Hogan to Ric Flair and many, many others. If you're a Blu-ray nut, then you'll probably want this one. If you're not a Blu-ray nut, you could settle for the Standard Definition version. The documentary being in HD doesn't do much to add to the presentation as there is nothing visually stunning for the most part unless it was footage from the HD era. The bonus matches from past Wrestlemanias were not converted over to HD; as a result, there are side bars on all of the past WM matches from prior to the HD era. That was my biggest let down with this disc was that they didn't do more to make the older matches up scaled to HD. I've seen much older films be converted and I think WWE missed the ball on that. Overall, whether its BR or Standard, The True Story of Wrestlemania is a good purchase.
