Wyze Battery Video Doorbell with 1536x1536 HD, Wireless/Wired Security Camera, Color Night Vision and Two-Way Audio

The wiring to our doorbell is outdated to put it politely and the quotes to get it replaced and properly attached to the regular doorbell was outrageous...thank heavens literally 2 weeks after that quote, an ad for Wyze battery powered doorbell camera popped up!! I bought it, installed in like 15m (brick sucks to drill through), and even attached a separate solar powered battery pack. The only downside is no continuous recording like our other cameras. The quality is solid, couple options for alerts to the person walking up to the camera about being recorded. All around I really like it and have absolutely no issues. We also have 2 floodlight security cameras, 3 indoor cameras, and a light bulb camera. So we are very deep in the Wyze space lol.

I am very impressed with the wyze battery video doorbell. It's simple to set up, charge and configure and works like it should.

It is working very good and it was easy to activate. I like it.

I was looking for a new Video Doorbell, and I already used other Wyze Outdoor Cameras. I watched the founder of Wyze demo the Wyze Battery Video Doorbell and was impressed by the ease with which he went through the initiation process. So I bought one and wala, it was as easy as advertised. I had it up and going in about 5 minutes and install on my house in less than an hour. It works great and if I were someone looking for a relatively inexpensive Video Doorbell, this one is one I would highly consider.

I love it. I had been meaning to get something like this and can't believe I waited this long. I live in the country and have it by my garage as I can't see that side of the house. I can see people coming and going as I have do have people going to the barn and I can see packages being delivered. Very clear, even at night. I like the Wyze application and have all my cameras on it. It has lots of options for notifications and chimes. The only problem with installing it is the very cheap screws that are provided for holding the mount in place. Don't use a power screwdriver for sure or better yet, replace them with better screws.

It was very easy to install. Now just waiting for Wyze to have the wifi chime back in stock so I can order it.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Wyze Video Doorbell. It doesn't have the doorbell sound. Whenever some comes to my door and presses on the doorbell I do not hear a doorbell ringing. It alerts my phone but not as a doorbell just a message there is motion at the front door. How can I connect the doorbell so that my indoor door bell rings? Do I have to buy an additional attachment to get it to work as a doorbell. Please help. I've asked the question on the app but unable to get any answers.

I'm having 3 issues with my doorbell: 1) I can't hear when someone call me. 2) The cameras setup as chime stop ringing and need to setup them again. 3) I was expecting more integration with the Google Assistent (Nest), it can't even work as a chime.

While the camera and service is great, the ability to take the camera is so easy a five year old can take it off. The brand Wyze promotes security but abandons securing the doorbell camera. I came from using a Ring doorbell where a simple screw was used which was a slight deterrent, Wyze doorbell has no deterrent what so ever, just a slight tug from the top and it's gone. The only reason I switched from Ring doorbell to Wyze was to have all cameras under the same app.
