WYZE Cam Pan v4, 4K Smart Security Camera, AI Motion Tracking, Color Night Vision, 360 Pan/Tilt, Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6, Indoor/Outdoor

I replaced most of my older model Wyze security cameras with this newer model. I like the idea that the camera can do a pan and follow a subject. The only problem most Wyze cameras have is the usage of micro memory chip used to save and record and activity that might interest you. I do a lot of diy testing of this product Wyze camera using solar panel batteries so I can setup the camera in remote areas of my property where theirs no electricity outlet.

Overall, I am satisfied with the ease in set-up and the performances except for the followings. 1. Cam occasionally loses it's waypoint and have to be reset. It also loses it's set waypoint when cam is turned off and on. 2. The spotlight does not turn on immediately when it detected motion during the scheduled timeline. At times, it does not turn on at all.

Way too many false signals, this camera is set up on our driveway and an intersection about 75 yards away. Sensitivity set on 3 and at night it triggers on cars headlights that are 75 yards away. The options Cost money to set up this camera the way that I would like to. Just set up a specific area cost money. The Wyze cam support sucks!! I ordered two cables for the cam v3 back in November of 25 and then contacted Wyze twice about this and STILL No cables!! The new cameras came in within a week but thay can't supply the replacement cables in over 6 months!!! Still waiting! [email protected]

The previous Pam cam 3 had less glitches. Sometimes the pan cam4 shuts off, looks up or down beyond the pan scan parameters you set and switches between night vision and regular like it can't make up its mind. Another issue is the power cord has changed to a C cable so you have to rerun a new cord thru the ceiling, thru the attic and out the soffit.

The resolution on all of my Wyze cameras is exceptional, so no surprise the Pan 4 is as well. However, though it was placed in EXACTLY the same place as a previous non-pan camera, connectivity is pitiful. No problem.wirh any of the others, but something about this pan version keeps it from working. Curiously, my neighbor has the same problem. Evidently, something about the engineering of this device is sub-standard.

This cam would have 5 stars if it let you turn off the motion tracking but it doesn't which is beyond me. Other then that this camera is great and once they update that and add that ability to stop motion tracking this is a 5 star review for a great new camera from Wyze.

The biggest problem is when the camera turns in some direction, but it never returns to its previous, starting position(AI- can I turn this of). It often rotates into a position pointing straight at the sky or straight at the ground. And then it doesn't record then! The second biggest problem is the constant freezing, buffering, and whatever else is going on. I had the previous model, and it didn't have as many problems as this one. It wasn't perfect either but at least record straight what I wanted

Either I got duds or they aren't as clear as advertised.... I want to be able to read a license plate and they don't even pick up my vehicle clearly..... I thought I bought the best you offered.... it defeats the purpose of buying having security cameras.... do you have anything better..... is the double pan the same cameras or better? I really thought about getting the bird feeder and solar camera setup but at this point I have worries about it being clear enough

VIPOutlet sent me a version 3 instead of version 4 of the Wyze Pan Camera. The outer package says v4 but the camera inside was a v3, the older version. So VIPOutlet must have sent me a returned/repackaged item with the wrong camera inside. This was supposed to be new. It wasn't even the correct camera.

Very disappointed in this camera. Expected an upgrade from V3 but it was a big let down. Overall this was a wasted of time between setting up and getting the controls to work right. I'll never get my hour back. Returned and went back to my Cam Pan V3
