Wyze Lock WiFi & Bluetooth Enabled Smart Door Lock, Wireless & Keyless Entry, works with voice assistants, Fits on Most Deadbolts

We were excited to get this lock and use the fingerprint technology to keep teenagers from sharing codes with friends. However we returned the lock for 2 reasons. 1. No internet connectivity so it could not be controlled remotely or monitored when not at home. 2. No manual key for backup should the battery fail. We gave it 3 stars for the fingerprint technology and the appearance but it failed when compared to other locks on the market. Add wifi (with functionality in your app to see when its locked/unlocked and by who and to lock/unlock remotely) and a key or manual operation option for when the battery fails and you will have a winner.

After several months using the Wyze Lock Bolt, I can report that it is very convenient (compared to always having to remember grabbing a key) and reliable. It locks and unlocks quick enough for an impatient person like myself. The fingerprint reader works 95% of the time and when it acts wonky, the keypad is easy enough to use. It was a breeze to install. Needs 2 additional functions for 5 Stars: 1) A schedule setting to lock at a particular time. I would like to leave auto lock off all day, but then have it lock by itself at say 8pm. 2) A position sensor so it does not auto lock when the door is open. It is very frustrating when it auto lock when the door is open.

I have 2 of these Wyze lock Bolts. They have been so helpful in many ways. 1. Locks itself after you set the time parameter (in case you forget to lock it). 2. I can let someone else in to walk the dogs, etc. 3. There are 3 options to open: finger print, enter code on the keypad, or someone can unlock from inside. I have had only one issue and it was with installation (the wire was in the way of the dead bolt mechanism and it gets stuck. I can drill more room but it's a fire rated door so I'd rather not compromise that integrity. The locks work well and you can program different fingerprints. Such a great price.

Works as intended. I wish you could have it come in different colors. Also, the quick start should say don't install battery until after mounting the lock. Other than that i'm happy with the functionality. I can lock and unlock using the app, I can get alerts if it's left unlocked or jammed.

Great lock all around. Keypad, fingerprint and auto-locking work as expected. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that when the door is left intentionally open, the auto lock still occurs resulting in damage to the door frame or other double door when one closes the door and the deadbolt latch hits as you close the door.

The auto-lock feature is fantastic and being able to check if the door is locked remotely is a great feature. Some issues with the Auto Unlock working every time though which is why I'm giving 4 not 5 stars. Installation was simple and I paired with a keypad.

Incredibly easy to install, and works exactly as i need it to. I do wish that I could remotely program additional PINs, as there have been a time or two that I've been away from the house, and needed to let someone in at a specific time that i would not be available, and would have preferred to have given them a temporary PIN. Quickly fixed by setting up a guest PIN that I invalidate after 1 use. Otherwise, I prefer this to other smart locks, because it uses the external lock, instead of replacing it. Knocked one star off because there does not appear to be a range of tightness that this will remain "screwed in". Its either too tightly attached onto the door, or will jiggle itself loose over time and need tightened.

Small hiccups but overall very useful. Sometimes the app doesn't recognize I'm close to home so it doesn't auto unlock. Sometimes it takes a while to get laundry mode to activate. Installation was really quick and simple. No issues with the door not closing all the way so I've never really gotten the door ajar alert.

An improvement I would like to see, is an easier way to use “Trash mode.” When we are moving groceries that require multiple trips in and out, or just simply sitting on the front porch, I don't like the hassle of getting into the app. If there were a button on the lock itself, that would be easier. Also, Auto Unlock is pretty slow to react. I find myself standing at the door for 15-30 seconds waiting for the auto unlock.

I absolutely love my Wyze Lock to automatically lock up when entering or leaving, without having to wonder if I locked it or not when getting in my car. Also, I have it connected to my Amazon devices which let me open & shut the door for family and close friends without having to pick up my phone to open my Wyze Mobile app nor go to the door to manually unlock it. I have roommates and have shared this and several other Wyze App products so they have access to them too. As always, with all the Wyze products I have and rely on in my home, WYZE IS THE BEST and only offers quality products with great features and at very reasonable prices!
