Wyze Video Doorbell (Wired) Doorbell Only - Cameras

I chose this doorbell, the OG, over getting the more expensive Pro. I like it! It looks nice, lights up when triggered, & easy install! I bought an add'l chime for upstairs & it all works seamlessly.

Great doorbell replacement option if your replacing a hard wired door bell. No reoccurring charges unless you want Cam plus. I'd recommend it but wyze is great because they don't strong arm you into subscription fees.

Great doorbell! As a former ring owner this is a step up in most aspects. Picture quality is way better. Small size is much better. App interface is smooth and a little more useful (less cluttered) than ring. I wish the chime had some better sound options or custom option. Easy to setup using app. Only cons… I used flat mount and had difficulty stuffing wires flat to install. Wish they had a flat spacer plate option to give more room. Also, the field of view beats ring hands down, but still isn’t perfect. It misses the bottom of my door and still can’t see packages sitting on door mat. Gets within 1.5feet of door which beats rings 4feet so still happy with my purchase. Would also be nice if you could use chime in the rules. I.e. Make door chimes when my Wyze lock is un-locked or locked or opened or closed.

I love the Wyze doorbell! Our front porch outdoor Wyze camera battery was getting a workout due to much activity. Decided to go with the hardwired doorbell and it was easy to install and not huge, like some of the other brands. The video quality is outstanding. Wish I’d made the switch sooner.

Works great, affordable unit. Wished it had a Micro SD slot, but it has free cloud storage, overall I like it. Many chimes to choose from within the App. Very easy to install, they did their homework. Video is clear even at night. And it has an LED light that illuminates once it detects motion which assists the view. Highly recommend.

Had an issue after a few months with my lock and Wyze sent out a replacement very quickly. I LOVE the convenience of a keypad and codes for each teenager. Install is always simple and step-by-step. Sometimes I would like the lock to respond faster but that’s being picky. Wyze has revolutionized smart homes by making products like this that are super easy to install and get working, and they’re so much less expensive than other brands. I have the doorbell and chime, lock and keypad, garage door opener and three cameras. Next up is thermostat and connecting it all to Alexa.

No way to continuously record. Cam+ gets most but still misses recording sometimes. I am very pleased with my doorbell but do wish I could have a recording option. I have 10 cameras and All of them have an SD card in them for playback when cam+ doesn’t get what I want. Would like the same option for the doorbell.

Great for the price. I had a Ring, this is better. The picture is definitely better, and it doesn't take forever to come up when someone comes. My only drawback, but it's not the cameras fault,, is it seems to always catch a tree blowing, that is by the front door, causing several alerts. I have turned down the sensitivity, but on a really windy day, i get about 60 notifications

Overall I'm fairly satisfied with the doorbell. No one has rang it yet but I'm sure the chime works as intended. I got it so I could see cars pulling into my drive way as the front door catches that. It is only about 30 ft from the front door but it doesn't get it. But somehow it's picking up cars that go by on the road 100 ft away. I've tried detection zone everything but the only way I can get it to pick up my driveway is if I eliminate everything in the detection zone except te driveway and the. Turn the sensitivity up to 100 but then I can't get it to pick up when people come to the door. I also don't like how long it takes to send a notification. It takes roughly 15 seconds from the time motion is detected (Indicated by the led light to flash) to when I get a notification. By that time my package is gone and the guy is driving away.

The camera gets hung up at least 25% of the time in “step 3 authenticating” when trying to view the camera. Very frustrating when you can’t connect to the camera! I even added a WiFi extender within 10 ft of the front door, but it didn’t solve the issue. I have a Wyze Pan camera located in the garage that works flawlessly, so I don’t understand why the door camera doesn’t work as well. Very disappointed in the performance of this Wyze product.
