Excellent
The self healing cutting mat is great. I have a smaller one but it was too small. I like that it has the ruler the around all 4 sides. I would recommend it to anyone cutting fabric or anything else on it.

The X-acto self healing mat was just what was expected. My grand daughter enjoyed the gift and it serves her well.

Delivery was a problem
I would have given this five stars if it wasn't for the delivery. When I got it the mat had been "curved" and fit into my mailbox. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift. I spent days trying to get the "buckle" out of it. I suggest that you put it between to large pieces of cardboard to ship it instead of a flimsy envelope that the postal people will do anything to avoid getting out of their vehicle to deliver a package.

Not very self-healing
First self-healing mat I've tried. Nice appearance and flexibility. Other reviewers commented on the grid lines not healing completely. I haven't cut enough on it yet to confirm that, but the few marks I put on the areas where there is NO grid (cutting on art mat board), have not healed; it has been about 3 days since first use. Cuts are visible and can be felt with light touch.
