X-Tronic 3020-XTS 75 W Digital Soldering Iron Station with Sleep Function, °C/°F Conversion, and Accessories

To be honest i never used it. But i could tell it was good quality. I bought it to solder my 40 yr old real sterling silver ring. The band had broken off in 2 pieces. Then realized i would need to buy the kind of solder meant to use on silver jewelry %26 would be little expensive. I'm just going to take to jewerer's %26 pay to have ring fixed. So i had my friend return the soldering kit to Walmart

this is a very versatile soldering station. easy to use and has several features i like. the solder holder is a nice addition to this station as well. it easily does everything i need. i Would recommend this to anyone wanting to save a few bucks rather than buying a "High Priced" soldering station.

This is a very well-designed soldering iron that really has all the bells and whistles I have a bunch of basic irons do not come anywhere close to the performance of what this is able to offer this really is professional grade quality and if you are serious about the projects that you are going to plan on performing with this kit then you have definitely found the right product this thing is impressive and everything that aspect right when you hold it you can fill the solid build quality and construction in your hands and you can tell when you start to adjust the dial and learn how to use the iron that you have definitely found a product that is worthy of praise I'm tired of investing and an expensive equipment that only last me a little while or give me a questionable results I spent a little bit more this time but still within reason and definitely a fair value and I was able to really get a solid product that will give me years of use that is consistent and of acceptable standards Happy I found this Well made Durable Affordable Works great!! I purchased one of these units from a different venue some time ago and liked it so much that I purchased a 2nd one from Wal-Mart. From what I have experienced so far (I have had my first one since April of 2016), this unit has worked for all of the soldering jobs I have done since I purchased my first unit. I knew when I first purchased this unit that it was not what you would consider a professional unit, but if it keeps working like it has so far then I don't think I will ever need a reason to upgrade. I have read a lot of reviews and blogs on the web about X-Tronic and I found that about 99% of all of them were positive on both their products and their customer service so I am not worried much about them taking care of any problems if I ever have one. Pros: 1) Great Price for an all in one soldering station especially with the built in LED Display for the temperature. I haven't found any other brand anywhere near this price that has a Digital LED Temperature Display. 2) The soldering iron with this unit will accept X-Tronic, Hakko and Aoyue tips and X-Tronic has a good assortment of replacement tips on their website. 3) Side solder roll holder will hold a 1 lb. roll of solder. 4) Brass Sponge Tin with the cleaning flux at the bottom of it is a very nice addition. 5) A 75 Watt Soldering Iron - NICE - heats up to whatever temp you want in less than 10 seconds. 6) A 1 Year Guarantee including parts and labor - X-Tronic must trust in the quality of their products a lot! 7) 10 Minute Sleep Timer - Fantastic! 8) A Centigrade to Fahrenheit Switch - Excellent Feature. I do not have any Cons on this unit so far, but will update this review in a couple of months if I experience any problems with either of my two units. Everything is working "Perfect' right now and I couldn't ask for more!

Very good design and quality

Haven't had a chance to use it, but it looks like a quality piece of equipment. I came missing the sponge for cleaning the tip but called and they are supposed to be sending one.
