Love it its so goofy and funny and makes some pretty good toast
the toaster online looks smaller but in person it's a lot bigger But that's honestly good. if you want a funny appliance in your house I would definitely recommend. and of course, if you're Xbox fan I would definitely buy it if you can get your hands on it
People said the Xbox Series X looks like a mini fridge. So, what did Microsoft do? They made an Xbox Series X mini fridge. People said the Xbox Series S resembles a hot plate. So, what did Microsoft do? They made an Xbox Series S toaster. It's hard to say who is trolling who here, but I think it's brilliant! Also, just like the mini fridge, these were sold out in mere hours. So, is it a nice toaster? Yeah, it is. Being white, it's likely to look nice in most kitchens. It's easy to operate and clean. The built in crumb tray negates the need to place a catch tray below it. I like how it's one giant slot. So, you can easily toast any size of sliced bread. It's also cool that it's equipped to toast frozen bread by providing a defrost button. It has numerous toasting settings. For the Xbox logo to show up well, darker settings need to be used. It's also VERY cool looking! I enjoy seeing it on my kitchen counter. It's worth the $40 asking price. However, I wouldn't advise paying more. I would wait until WALMART replenishes their stock. If it doesn't say “sold and shipped by WALMART”, then you're dealing with a 3rd party seller. They can charge whatever they want for things, drag their feet on shipping, refuse your return request, etc. Furthermore, Walmart doesn't hold themselves accountable for 3rd party sellers.
I just received my XBox toaster and made toast for dinner! I loved seeing the Xbox logo pop up on the bread. It's so awesome. The crumb tray is a nice addition as well as the bagel selection. The best part is my girlfriend doesn't mind it in our kitchen since it's black and white!
haha so they actually did it... they made another meme come true.. I wasnt sure this would even toast well but to my suprise it actually performs really well as a toaster - the X logo on the toast only really appears if you really toast it. I like the function settings and the countdown timer is a must - not sure how I lived without a timer with my last toaster. Overall really happy - better replacement toaster to my last one, takes up less space, looks really cool and if im being honest doesnt really stick out in my kitchens decor. Thumbs up and I would recommend it if you are looking for a new toaster.
It puts an X on the toast. It's awesome.
Pre ordered this toaster. Got it on 1/9/23. If you like non burnt toast, put on level 1 or lower for like 40 seconds and you'll sort of get the Xbox logo on the toast. Level 2 for the full time will get you the Xbox logo fully but burns the crap out of the toast. It has a digital led timer that shows you how long you have left. Not bad for $40 though. I like that it has one long opening for / piece of bread/bagels. It also has the removable crumb tray.
Toaster works fines, however when i received it, one of the parts that hold the bread vertical wasn't actuating with the lever and had to shake and pull on it to get it to un-jam(pun not intended). Also I've tried a few type of bread and the xbox logo(s) are place to far toward the control side so if you want to make two slices of toast and have the bread all the way to one side it's still not far enough to have the logo completely. I might try and take it apart sometime and see if it just slid in shipping in order to line it up with the bread better. However I payed only 40 dollars shipped. It's not worth 80-100 especially if you intended to use it a lot. Pros is of course the looks and the digital display is nice too
I bought it as more of a collector item. The item was on sale which made the price very reasonable and much better than the full price. The quality seems a bit cheap (but I was expecting this as it's more of a novelty item vs. something that is high quality)
so it finally comes back in stock and the price is 149.00. i think ok, its a collectable so i ordered it. it has not arrived but now it's on sale for 89.00. ARE YOU FOR REAL???? so i ordered the cheaper one and i will return the more expensive one. you tried to cheat me but ended up losing money on shipping. never again wally world, never again
