I really like how the hinges are underneath so the top looks like one sheet. The textured matt finish looks really classy. The mechanism to release and flip up works well. This was pretty easy to install. This is a great product. The one thing I would change is when it's folded up all the way, it stands away from the cab rather than lean on it. I think it would be better to lean back on the cab. My first on arrived with shipping damage and they were excellent to work with the get a free replacement. Very good customer service. This is a good choice for a tonneau cover.

Arrived in tact...easy to install...fit perfectly. Rubber covers on top at tailgate sides does not adhere well...double sided adhesive was not adhered well when I received the cover. Need to remove about 1" of adhesive stop from both sides and reattach as omehow. Other than that. Great

Installation was pretty straight forward. I watched some videos before doing it myself. Easy operation, no latching problems like the review before mine stated. I did have to put an extra piece of the bulkhead seal in the front corners to seal out daylight, but I'm sure it will be better after it settles for a week or two. I am waiting to see how the prop rods hold up with the cover folded up to the rear window. Some of the cover extends past the roof line and the sides. There is some play where the rods are fastened to the rails. when you have the rods locked in which I hope isn't an issue when driving at highway speeds. So far I am more than satisfied. I will post another review in two weeks to update waterproofness and how it reacts fully folded at higher speeds.

Well designed, good quality, installation took 3 plus hours. Mainly due to having a drop in bed liner, needed to be removed, holes drilled for the drain holes. Also came with 2 additional installation kits required for the 2019 ford Ranger. Instructions for those kits were poor and unreadable. Had to call support for pdf files so I could read.. once installed , like the fact it locks and folds up, making the entire bed usable..

After installing on my 2019 ram 1500 (new body style) there was a small leak at the head of the bed. The leak was at the corners easily sealed with small beads of silicone and has been bone dry ever since. Twist latch and pull cords work great. I can't complain after inches of snow and rain.

I was looking for a hard-folding tonneau cover with a non-glossy, scratch-resistant surface and clean look, and I think the Xceed checks all those boxes. I installed the Xceed on my 2018 F-150 short bed (5.5') with OEM bedliner already installed. To my delight, I didn't need to do any trimming of the liner in order to accommodate the rails … the tailgate still opens and closes easily. My installation was delayed by a couple of defective pieces of minor hardware, but Extang shipped replacements quickly. I'm 65 and 5'8" tall, and had no problems installing this unit without assistance; that includes lifting the ~ 60# folded cover and setting it into place without issue. I haven't installed the drain hoses yet … waiting for a good rain to check for water in the bed before bothering. If I do install the hoses, I'll probably just route them to the holes in the liner for the front cargo cleats. Very satisfied with the product overall so far (less than 1 month ownership).

Overall the bed cover is great except for one problem. There is a plastic strip that covers the cable for the release handle that constantly comes off. This has been happening since day one! I guess some glue could fix it. Sad that you pay this much money and only get what you get. Other than that, cover works as it's supposed to.

I bought this cover about three years ago. It's easy to install. Very sturdy, and looks great. Some people complain about the twist mechanism but that never bothered me. My only issue is with the leather looking cover. After about a year it started to peel up on one edge. I tried liquid cement but it didn't stay. Now it's starting to peel up on the other side. I live in OH and it really doesn't get that hot. This covering wouldn't last a year in AZ or TX. My plan is to remove the covering. I think it actually will look pretty good. All in all I like the cover but might be better to buy one without the EndraCoat material covering.

Installation of the rails was challenging. Lining up the clamps took a considerable amount of time because of the Toyota configuration. The drain hoses did not fit the bed drain making them inoperable. After installation you could see slight bends in the cover. This prevents the parameter seals from laying properly. I was very careful to install as was noted on the instructions. It looked to be an issue that occurred during shipping but not bad enough to return. We will see how it performs in the long term. It took about 2 hours to install. It would have gone much quicker if the side rails were simple to line up. There was a ton of friction and getting them to slide into position was quite frustrating.
