Xenoblade Chronicles™ X: Definitive Edition, Nintendo Switch

Game arrived in less than a week during the 1st anniversary of the game being on Switch. The price drop for such a massive game is much appreciated. I played the original version on the Wii U where some content was left out during development, and this game really needed the Definitive Edition treatment to finally add the stuff and more in terms of story and characters that they left out on Wii U version. Plus, Lots of amazing Quality of Life improvements was added to streamline things to an already 200 hour adventure.

I played this on Wii U and couldn't get into it, but now with the quality of life updates and refined controls, I've already put 106 hours into it and I am only about 2/3 of the way through the chapters. Side missions don't get boring, as they don't feel like doing the same fetch quest over and over, and there are always new online missions to try. Fabulous game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a vast, ambitious sci-fi RPG that shines in its exploration and world-building. The remastered version enhances visuals and gameplay, making the alien planet Mira feel more immersive than ever. While the story is considered weaker compared to other Xenoblade titles, the Skell mechs, open-world freedom, and engaging combat system more than make up for it. If you love grand adventures with deep mechanics, this one's worth your time!

The game, while not my style, is a long awaited remake to a game that released on the Wii U, and it improves everything about the original along with new content! While it may be my least favorite Xenoblade game, the game is still fantastic and worth checking out!

Experience an adventure unlike most other games in the switch console. Even without context of the other games of the franchise, Xenoblade X nay start out slow, but when it begins to run it shows how fun the gameplay is, how expansive Mira as a planet is, alongside a showcase of a scrawling otherworldy enviorment you'll find yourself enthralled in. TL:DR: It's a 10/10, a bit of a slow burn.

Ordering is very easy. my son, tells me the game he "needs" and he shows it to me on the Walmart online app, I say push order and it's on the way!

One of the sci fi rpgs I've played. It was so ahead of its time. It your looking for a good rpg that's a little different then standard then this is perfect for you.

Great re-issue of one of my favorite Wii U games. A lot of quality of life enhancements and new material added to the game. Feels great coming back to the world of XCX after nearly 10 years!

Really cool game. Graphics are a little dated and a lot of the side characters aren't super compelling by AAA standards, but I guess that's just the game showing it's age. The overall gameplay and exploration loop is excellent and I enjoyed the characters enough to finish their side stories.

The game functions well, and Walmart handled the sale for my day of purchase great. This is the first time I have ever played this game on any system. The game itself is tediously boring for my tastes, and I have hundreds of hours on the other two Xenoblade Switch games I thoroughly enjoyed. This game is not like the others, so keep that in mind. I have put in so far 112 hours, but only because I bought the game. I will finish the game as well, but again, only because I bought the game. If I had rented this, or borrowed it from someone, I would have returned it about 25 hours into the game. If you have played this game on other older systems, and were happy with it back then; I am sure you will love this version, as it is visually stunning. Especially compared to the original release.
