Some of the features that impressed me was the USB and Bluetooth, as well as a pretty decent rechargeable battery. The reception was pretty decent for am/fm/sw, but I'd argue it was even better during the evening. Not sure why. The sound was pretty decent and even better with earbuds. Excellent price for the value !

WOW! Did not expect such great reception (even with the antenna tucked in). Can't complain about the sound quality, because I knew I was buying a transistor. Everything else is great. Especially love the USB port.

I ordered the D-368 XHDATA radio Thursday night and it arrived by FedEx Tuesday, safely double boxed. It's not just a AM-FM radio with shortwave bands, it's a music player with USB stick slot, Micro SD card slot, and Bluetooth. I tested it and am listening to mp3 files, audio books by Bluetooth sent from my cellphone, but the USB stick works fine too. The radio pulls my favorite FM jazz station which isn't always easy to tune in. Shortwave used to be one of my favorite listening pastimes in the mountains where I could string long loop antennas but I'm in the city now with limited antenna choices. A wire antenna extender that clips on to the whip antenna is necessary for areas with weak reception. Can purchase those or make your own out of a long strand of speaker wire and an alligator clip. I also have an XHDATA D-901 and it is a nice radio with the same functions as this D-368, but much larger with a carry strap and built in LED emergency light. The D-368 fits my bedside table better. I also have a number of Retekess radios and a Han Rong Da that are good. I'm a radio collector. You can look up radio reviews for them online, particularly on YouTube if you're unsure how to use the features or which is best for you.

XHDATA is one of the best inexpensive DSP based manufacturers. No brainer purchase for the price.

Strong suite of this radio is the FM sensitivity and selectivity, it just vacuums up stations that i wasn't even aware of. AM seems average, rumors that it's set up for foreign bandwidth (9 kHz steps instead of US 10 kHz steps). I may get an antenna for the shortwave, fun to play with but not compelling. The speaker is amazingly clear, superb especially for talk formats. Another thing i do is use this as a headphone amplifier by connecting it to my phone with Bluetooth with my headphone connected to the radio, so music from my phone sounds Hifi with improved detail with musical nuance and air between the different voices. You can hear each voice in harmonies etc. The rechargeable 18650 is another big plus, it just keeps going and is easy to recharge so is great for emergency use, like after a hurricane when the power is out (Solar panel is recommended). No need to worry about extra batteries. In my opinion, this is a compelling buy for the price offered, but i would reconsider maybe exchanging the shortwave for weather bands. This may change when I get a shortwave antenna. No-brainer, just buy this. Better than a name brand radio I paid more than 2.5 times the price for, sounds and works better. Use your good headphones with it.

The battery last quiet a few days after charging, and having a type-C charge port is very convenient since most my other electronics have this type of port.

Sound not as good as I expected. Would not purchase again.
