This is a really fantastic little box! Receives all kinds of Internet channels and also works with Chromecast. Since it is Android based I have access to the Google Play Store.

I love it! I should have gotten this long ago instead of Roku. I'm planning on getting a second one for the bedroom TV. It supports 5G. Finally I'm able to stream TV without connections issues. Great quality, fast and easy setup. Totally recommend it!

Mi Box S came with Android 8.1, and it's more stable than 9.0 Beta version. All features works well for Android 8.1, so actually no hurry to update to 9.0, perhaps at a later time when they come out with rock solid version. No other TV box can beat the features with this $50 box, I missed period when this box went on sales 6 months ago. The only complain I have is the on/off button. The box is not really shutdown when the power button is pressed; I think the unit gets into sleep mode only, and the only way I know to shutdown this box is to pull the power plugin from the box. I wish they redesign the on/off button to include shutdown or real power off. If the unit doesn't shutdown fully, some apps may not work properly after awhile. For example, I noticed sometimes, the Viki app may work slower than normal and doesn't resume video correctly after commercials. I downloaded KODI and it works perfectly. By the way, I received a defective unit which the power plug is loose after plugging into the box and the unit goes off with some movement from the box. I returned the unit and asked for replacement.

I was able to set up and connect the equipment without any issue and it dues the job I intended for it to do. My TV is working awsomely

GREAT FOR THE PRICE! doesn't work well without the remote that comes with it...my kid lost the remote and I've been trying to find a good replacement...the hardest part is not having a voice remote after losing the original and having one with voice that works right isn't easy to find. I tried to purchase one from Walmart but it couldn't be recognised by the Android box so that was a bust. My next choice was a keyboard remote with a dongle to plug in, so I had to purchase a usb hub since the Mi Box only has one usb slot. The reason why I didn't just plug it in and go from there is becuase It doesn't have enough internal memory. I have a 16gb usb stick plugged into the hub to hold all the games and such so I don't use up all the internal memry and slow down the device.

It is a very good product, unfortunately the store does not allow you to buy more than two units in the same order, to improve the price. The remote control could improve in quality, but it is still a very good product.

The price is a little high, but it gives access to more apps and I was able to use it for what I specifically needed. Sometime the speed slows down, could be network but it happens only with this device. It is also overly simplistic, I wish I could find away to move or reorganize apps on the home screen like you would on a roku. however, inspite of these I still love it.

At first, you may have trouble with WiFi staying connected. Connect to your 5Ghz WiFi then check for system updates. After the updates, the system works great and is a breeze. It's not an Nvidia Shield but it's a budget friendly alternative. Even though it comes with an HDMI cable, it isn't very long so I would buy another one if you don't already have it. As stated, initial setup is difficult but it's great after updates.
