I 've been using the pink rollers that "grip your hair" for a long time, until I saw these advertised. At 75, I still have thick hair, chin length and want to keep it thick. The pink rollers seemed to collect a lot of hair %26 that hair was coming out of my head! These ceramic grip rollers are gentler %26 the bristles appear shorter, but still grip. I use a round brush to dry my 1st section and then roll that section with the ceramic roller. I use my blow dryer on that rolled section to "heat up the ceramic" and move on. Bottom line: Not losing as much hair on the roller, good selection of 3 sizes in the package I bought, I like the ceramic inside the roller - must help retain heat. Appear to be more gentle on my hair. Not sure about sleeping in them?? I plan to try slightly drying my hair and rolling and see how they do when I have the time. Overall: Happy with my purchase

I have long thick frizzy hair and these really helped to add curl to my hair after I've straightened it without adding additional damaging heat

Great for using for at home blow out. Add body and wave for days. Clips are great, wish more. My experience was they are needed to hold rollers in place when setting.
