Better than expected quality - they fit my hand perfectly

After 21 years in the Air Force, and now 61, I've been to so many gyms I know quality when I see it, this 45lb dumbbell is awesome quality!! I would recommend wearing gloves with the knurled grip, which I love!

Good quality and price, is just a dumbbell like all the others at the gym, had a little rubber smell like all new plastic material, but faded away within a week.

Got these to replace tw 2.5lb wrist weights. Easy to hold, nice heft, you could kill an elephant with these and still use them for years - well built. ZERO issues.

Price and quality are good. The smell is pretty intense but dissipates quickly over the course of the first week or so. Be patient with the odor. I think that wiping them down right away with disinfecting/cleaning wipes helps a lot as there's an oily film on them left over from the manufacturing process.

I found a 45lb pair of dumbells on Walmart website for $87.09 including tax. They were in stock when I ordered. I received an email thanking for my order. Then I received a 2nd email saying what I ordered was out of stock and the order was cancelled. I was promptly refunded Then I had to order the product 45lb dumbells pair a 2nd time; only now the price was $113.69 including tax; a $26.60 increase. This delayed original arrival and it was a pair and when delivered, one was delivered 2/1/23 and then the 2nd on 2/2/23. But shipping was free and that was good.

The feeling and appearance are both perfect when holding it, but I just can't stand the strong plastic smell. Even after being exposed to sunlight for 2 weeks and trying to remove the odor with baking soda, it still persists, strongly.

The rubber on the dumbbells smells strong, almost a cigarette smoke odor. We have cleaned the rubber and it still smells. It is strong enough to smell each time we enter our gym room.

Item was left out in the rain and boxes were soaking wet. Items also soaking wet. Called and only offered partial credit. A full refund was in order. I will not order from Walmart again.
