XTERRA Fitness ERG200 Folding Magnetic Resistance Rower

I've been using this rower daily for the past month. I usually do 1500m at a moderate pace with the resistance set to 5. Other reviewers note it doesn't have enough resistance. I can see that for folks that are in better shape than me. Others note the instructions are good. I almost gave it 4 stars because I thought the instructions were weak. Ok, now you've read my background., let me tell you my thoughts on using the machine. I really like it. I chose this machine because it has a center suppor, hoping it would be more solid than other in its price range. I've had inexpensive equipment before and they felt flimsy, or rattled, or rocked or all three. This machine is very solid under my 200 lb frame. It's smooth and quiet. Feels like a much more expensive rower. I sincerely hope it stays this way as I really enjoy using it.

My husband and I love this rower. It was fairly easy to put together. It had great instructions and everything went together well. It took just one of us (me) a little over an hour to put together and 2 of us to carry it downstairs. It runs very smooth and works perfectly, including the battery operated monitor. My husband uses the higher resistance to build upper back and shoulder muscles and I use the light resistance so it's easy to adjust. We use it about 3 times a week. It also folds up if you need the extra room and we use on carpet so we didn't need to place anything under it.

Great product, easy assembly with tools/instructions and I am not a person that uses a wrench or tools at all. Tension could be better, but overall quiet, great rower and exercise equipment for the price and home use.

the rower itself is good for the price. needs more resistance. feels like one wrong pull will break the handle and the monitor does not measure the rpm correctly.

Machine is great. It just came damaged but still works.

Easy instructions on assembly. Took maybe 30 minutes to do so. I am 64 yrs. old and I love the work out I'm getting. Only problem was the lock pin that you pull out to raise up the slide and seat for storage. The holes on mine did not line up. I simply used a round file and made a little adjustment. I think mainly the heavy paint on the metal was the problem. Weighs 59 lbs. so it's really sturdy.Highly recommend it.

Good machine for the price. Easy to build and lightweight. We never had to put the resistance setting past 4. Make sure you watch a rowing video for proper technique.

It is not too heavy but ver sturdy and stable when in use. I would have given it 5 stars but it need just a little higher resistance level.
