XTERRA Fitness ERG220 Rower

I've been wanting this rower for years, and my old one finally gave out. So, the hunt began! I checked Amazon and XTERRA's website, but they were both priced around $349 or $399. A quick search led me to Walmart, where it was only $199! I snapped it up immediately, and it arrived just six days later. Assembly was a breeze, taking only about 45 minutes. I was rowing in no time! This rower is perfect, especially because of its length. Five stars!

This machine arrived 2 weeks before the expected delivery date! Took my husband about a half hour to put together- assembly was easy and laid out nicely. It folds up and moves fairly easily for storage and is pretty stable (we have 2 little ones we were worried could knock it over). On a high setting, will get our heart rate going pretty good after 5 mins of rowing at a medium- high intensity pace. Pulse rate doesnt work from what we can see (no sensors). And, we discovered this morning that there is a crack in the front from delivery that we felt a little disappointed to see- but some glue should fix it and it is only cosmetic. Looking forward to using this machine to give us some cardio while we watch tv machine is VERY quiet! I did a ton research for machines in this price range and am glad I picked this one with Walmart delivery!

There are no workout programs like the more expensive machines but everything else is great. Its quiet, the resistance levels are perfect, its very easy to move to any room, sturdy and the cost was great for my budget. I highly recommend buying this.

Decent rower for the price. I wish the resistance was better. I don't know if I'm just strong or it's weak lol. I work out regularly not sure if everyone who reviewed it before does but no one else complained of weak resistance. Nice size not too big or too small. I managed to fit it in my home office.

It was heavy and a little challenging to assemble, but it was possible to do it with just one person.

I just assembled and did my first two work outs. Assembly instructions very clear. Unit is solid and smooth rowing. Very nice unit for the money $300 vs $900 for Nordic track or other units. Does not have the fancy bells and whistles but that was the way I wanted it. If you want fancy displays and want to go to the next model up. Would recommend as a no frills but functional machine.

Harder to get it out of the box then it was to put together. The instructions and tools/pieces were coordinated so you knew which pieces went with which step and that was great. It works okay for the price. The little stats panel is confusing and doesnt seem very accurate. The seat isnt very comfortable and the foot holds are poorly made. Very easy to fold up.
