This item arrived quickly, and it looks good quality and neatly packaged in a sturdy case. I have tested it on my own car so far. I am hopeful that it will do all the work that I needed. It is easy to upgrade and use. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far!
This scanner is the best buy for the money. After opening the scanner up, registering and downloading the software, I was able to diagnose and fix one of my customers' cars without spending too much time on the diagnosis. I wish I knew about this scanner sooner.
As I sit here looking at the blow mold case filled with outdated scanners costing as much as my house did when I bought it 30 years ago, I recall purchasing brand-name scanners in the past and they always seem outdated with new technology as soon as they are released. I've used Snap On, Mac, OTC, Bosch, etc., and This one is the latest for less than what it would have cost to update my professional scanner. I love it!!!
My expectations have been exceeded so far. With all of its functionality, some of which would normally be only available to dealers, this eliminates the need for multi-thousand dollar scan tools. Furthermore, it is an Android-based application, so you can add whatever apps you need to it.
My vehicle's systems needed a powerful diagnostic tool. I've had quite a few over the years, but none have been as good as this one. I've used it on a number of vehicles for reading codes, reading live data, clearing codes, and testing multiple systems bidirectionally. I'm very satisfied with it. It's a powerful tool at an affordable price.
The first time I used the XTOOL DEVICE, a few days ago, I already saved 8 times what the device cost. I diagnosed and fixed a 2017 Ford E450 RV using it. I was able to diagnose and fix a 2004 BMW 525 by clearing and adjusting the computer module under $300. The dealer wanted more than $5000 for parts.The tool saved me thousands by not going to the dealer. I'm looking forward to fixing my daughters' Audi, as well as my Hummer H2. It is very easy to use and very helpful.
Getting to diagnose cars has never been more exciting to me! I would highly recommend this scanner to anyone working in the automotive industry! It has a ton of features that are extremely useful, the software is very easy to update, and the attachments are amazing!
At first, I wasn't sure about this scanner's quality. However, after working as a dealership technician for a week, I am extremely pleased with this tool. It can do far more than I expected. I'm not a fan of Android, but I didn't have any problems using it. I love it!
I am very impressed with the speed of delivery, the ease of use, and the fact that it works great on my cars. I will save a lot of money by not having to go to the dealership for diagnostics.
This would not connect to my router although everything else connects to it no problem. It would connect to hotspots on my phone and PC but I needed it to connect to my router for top speed and wifi capabilities. I don't recommend this for that reason.
