The directions were hard to understand, but fairly complete. The service personnel at Home Depot were very helpful in verifying the finer points. Thank you Home Depot! It is quiet enough for a compressor. It filled its tank half up in about ;9 seconds, first run. U am really liking it so far.

Terrible instructions to finish assembly of this compressor. A couple page document that doesn't list the parts you have to assemble; which is rediculous and possibly unsafe. When I reached-out to customer service, they did call back but, the rep didn't know that parts need to be installed and where to find out. It is Holiday season so they are busy but support should be able to answer, or find out those things. I looked online for answer and could download instruction from another site ( after signing-up and paying ) but, it was the same crappy document that is about 2 paragraphs english and 2 and a half other languages and safety / lawyer crap. This compressor was slightly damaged during shipment but, Only Because Shipper Mishandled it. Box had a couple holes in it from handling. When they left it at my door it was upside down and tilted on one corner which dented the box and cracked the prtrctive shroud around the top of the pump. I order lots of tools and I don't like a company that doesn't include basic operating instruction and maintenance info.

This air compressor is very easy to use, with simple instructions. It's well priced based on the size/cfm rate. It's is a little loud, but that's to be expected with a gas powered compressor. My only issue was having to wait an extra week for the keys that had been forgotten to be sent with the unit.

the owners manual is not as clear as it should be. havent used it yet but there is a warning on it that states do not use until permanent plug is installed. i dont think mine came with another plug n if it did, i guess i dont know what it looks like. there are 2 parts that i have no idea what they are or what they are used for. not labeled n manual isnt specific enough.

The issue is not so much walmart but the poor shipment I received. I received the box and it was a hot mess! It came to my door step with the box upside down because the taped bottom was torn open. Taking the tank assembly out - upside down, the oil was leaking all over the compressor assembly inside the bag covering it. From what I could see, the unit had been dropped as one of the tank wheel steel frame legs was deformed about 1/4 inch compared to the other leg- not an easy thing to do. Also one of the air gauges had come apart, the glass cover and ring cap were loose in the bag covering the compressor. I was able to salvage the unit as I needed it for a project. Otherwise I would have returned it.

of course every time you order something through the mail something always gets broken in the Box I'm thinking these are going to end up getting broke anyway so I'm really not going to worry about it but just letting everyone know I think these are the mufflers

First of all this is not the package that arrived they used to substitute. My package had damage and the contents were damaged. For two days I argued back and forth to get the parts to fix it till I got mad and threw it out and bought another one. Also this thing is the noisiest compressor I've ever owned

I should of paid extra attention to the unfavorable reviews. Yes, like all the others stated, I received the compressor damaged. I contacted Xtremepower and they sent me the wrong part. The replacement part was not listed, so I am not even sure there was a replacment part. Sure, I took a chance because I really like the specs. If you do order, expect a damged compressor.

item had bent wheel mounts, a broken motor reset switch, the black plastic shield surround was broken and the intake filter housing was mutilated beyond use. I cob jobbed it into a fire hazard to get my paint job completed as I could not wait around for a replacement unit. If I didn't know what to do to fix it it would be useless scrap metal.
