DEFINITELY MORE POWERFUL THAN MY HAYWARD 1.5HP POOL PUMP, MY HAYWARD DRAWS 12 AMPS AT 120 VOLT, THIS PUMP DRAWS 4.7 AMPS AT 120 VOLT AT FULL SPEED, ENERGY SAVING, AND POWERFUL AND QUIET AT LOW SPEEDS, SHOULD OF SWITCHED YEARS AGO, I KEEP THE HAYWARD AS A BACKUP.

I usually like to wait a couple weeks before leaving an honest review because as you well know that sometimes problems don't arise right away and it's only been a day or two since installing the pump and I can tell you that the first thing I noticed was how quiet it is and full disclosure here.. I had my old Hayward pump for several years and it was given to me by a friend that had it for who knows how long? So it was kinda loud and truth being it was “ over kill “ for my pool size which is only a small 15' above ground and I think it was literally pushing the water to hard through the sand filter so it didn't even get a chance to filter out the smaller particles so as you can imagine I was constantly having to vacuum and also shock pool to help clump up the stuff the filter should have be doing. Anyway.. so far..so good! Seems to be doing a much better job than the old one and my old one did not have an off/on switch so I was having to crawl out from my pool deck ( where my pool equipment is located) to go to my electrical box to shut it off and on.. yeah I know pain in the you know what! So to just be able to do that in itself was a huge upgrade. It also has a timer! Yeah! Anything that makes the everyday task a little easier for me is a win in my book! So for now I'm giving this little gem 5 stars! Oh! There was one small thing I feel compelled to share that immediately had me concerned when I was quickly.. I mean carefully reading the manual.. it said Do not use outdoors and keep in cool dry place. Uh! What!? It is a “POOL” pump right? I don't know of too many people that have pools indoors but maybe I need a better class of friends?🤷‍♀️

This pool pump has exceeded all of my expectations at a very reasonable price. The pool was in bad shape and water was turning green. After installing the new pump, the water is completely clear and no debris like previously. I have a jacuzzi attached to the pool so needed a large pump with high horse power. I highly recommend this wonderful pool pump.

Great pool pump, works well. Can run on 220 or 110, comes with grounding bolt (make sure you ground it! you will need an additional grounding rod and wire). Pump has low/off/high rocker switch that's weather sealed. It's loud on high but not very noticable on low speed. Would definitely purchase again.

Gave all stats needed to be sure what we needed. Very reasonable price %26 quick delivery. Received, installed and has been running about a week. Doing a good job. Glad we chose it.

So far, so good. Replaced my horribly expensive Pentair pump with this ExtremePower product on the recommendation of my pool service. He said he had installed quite a few and had no issues. This pump really moves water, including two water features. It's quiet and has a nice user interface on the panel. So far, I'm feel happy and ahead hundreds of dollars.

Half the price of identical unit priced by local pool company.

Seems like a very good product Once we got the schedule up and running, it is keeping the pool pristine. Delivery, however, was. Nightmare. Delivery date passed and was delayed over a week, without any communication, Walmart should use a better delivery service

I can' t give a review regarding the pump, I had it for only 3 days. It will not be accurate. I will have yo wait at least a year to see how it works. Customer service sucks, I speak for my experience. You ask a question and they tun round the bushes, no straightforward answer. The company needs to have on Youtube or on their website about the settings and also an app. There is nothing about their pumps besides on video that has nothing relevant to day to day use. You can communicate only via email, if you have a question on weekend you have until Monday when they get back to you.

Not happy at all with this XtremepowerUS 1.5HP High Flow Swimming Pool Pump! The item's description states 1.5 HP pool pump, but when delivered, the manufacturer's label on the motor itself shows that it is actually only 1.0 HP. Very deceiving!
