I have owned three of these motors They do not last long - only 2-3 years - which is how long the first two lasted (wait til I tell you about the third pump) I was wise and purchased an extended warranty through Walmart -- both times the motor failed, I made claims and was reimbursed for the cost of the motor and then ordered a replacement On pump %233 now, purchased in July and installed in August -- the pump failed by mid-December Walmart website used to say this pump came with a 1 year warranty -- but now the manufacturer's warranty page goes to a dead link Immediately filed a claim with extended warranty company (Allstate/Squaretrade), which of course advised me to go to manufacturer first Manufacturer now says "30 day return policy - 90 day warranty", otherwise you are out of luck Allstate is now giving me the runaround -- insisting the pump could possibly be repaired (would require parts labor for new motor) -- and required me to come out of pocket to bring out a professional pool company to diagnose and give repair estimate (they claim I will be reimbursed for diagnostic fee -- TBD) Contacted manufacturer again about parts costs/availability and it's as if they have an AI bot answering their customer service email -- giving me troubleshooting advice when I advise the pump has already been professionally diagnosed -- motor bearings failed, audible grinding and then motor lockup -- just need parts/repair costs, or if parts are even available Round and round we go.... SAVE. YOURSELF. Do not buy this junk. Consider everyone else who has a good review as either fake and/or lucky -- theirs just hasn't failed yet.

It went to wrong address, tried to get the pkg rerouted, neither walmart or the company it came from in China could not do anything! Trying to return it has been a nightmare!! Don't buy anything online from Walmart, you will be sorry!! You can't take it back to a Walmart store! All they do is lie to you when you finally get to talk to a human. Worst service ever!!!

The pump arrived and looks very well made, When I went to wire it, I couldn't get the end cap screws out. My husband tried for 45 minutes to remove them, with no luck. So we took it to local hardware store, they couldn't remove them either.

product came defective , the instructions are awful . Save your insanity and dont buy.
