During the 2nd use, the pull rope got stuck pulled all the way out and won't recoil.

Sitting here on the ice with my husband's Valentine's Day gift with only one hole drilled, pieces came off. It did well making the hole though without this price on half the side, the next how was much harder. These were checked before leaving the house for tightness. Sucks to sit on the ice, about 1/2 mile from shore with only one hole

The blade cover was broken upon arrival, Walmart was very helpful in getting me in contact with the seller, the seller has been the problem, upon first contact they asked for picture of broken part which I sent, then 5 days later they asked for part number which I couldn't provide since was no user manual or parts list that I promptly informed them, then they asked for part number again so I advised them to open up another unit and get it from that, I got another request for part number so I then advised then to do their job, no answer from that yet but getting ready to call Walmart again

Ordered through Walmart and received ice auger in a timely fashion. Went down hill from there. After putting everything together, we attempted to start the auger. Starter assembly fell apart. Made of plastic, and it broke. Returned it to local Walmart and now have to wait up to 2 weeks for a refund. Real hassle.

The auger jammed constantly. It turns out it arrived with loose cutting blades. After tightening them the welds broke dropping a brace in the lake. A blade holder broke away from the bit shaft. The other brace tore the metal on the shaft. I am struggling to get the manufacturer to respond to me so they can replace the auger bit but I have been unsuccessful so far. Regardless of the price keep looking for a better quality product. The product and company's customer service are not worth the trouble

Inexpensive option, but not worth wasting your money on. Plastic choke switch broke the first time we tried to use it. The second time out, the bit broke. We drilled a total of 12 holes! Do not recommend!

Used for the very first time today, after only 10 holes the whole blade need snapped off into the lake! Save your money.
