Nice price looks like it will work good
Up to now, I've managed to eliminate two dents using this product. Utilizing it with the glue tabs, I was pleasantly surprised as it shifted the panel and smoothed out a wrinkle in the quarter panel of my Silverado. I am extremely satisfied with the product.
I purchased this tool with the hope that the positive reviews were accurate. As a body technician, I use this tool daily. I dislike being indebted to tool trucks, and tools of this type cost over $300 on any tool truck. I had one from the tool truck, but it was stolen years ago. I finally decided to buy one, but I wasn't going to be ripped off if I could get one for $60. The performance has been excellent. I've used it several times, and it has withstood all the hardest pulls I'm capable of doing. I recently used it on a frame rail to straighten it a bit before replacing it. The metal was hard, so this tool was either going to break or bend the metal slightly. It pulled it just fine. It's definitely a good buy if anyone is in the market for a tool like this. The welds have held up well. I'll update my review if anything changes.
This is a good value for what you get, though it is a little tricky to manage all the pieces and thread the attachments correctly. The case is also very cheaply made, but that's probably why the whole set is inexpensive.
I had no prior experience using a slide hammer for dent removal, but this tool performed admirably on deep dents in a challenging location. After removing a heavy plastic trim, I drilled some holes and utilized a large screw, nuts, and washers with the puller head. I proceeded to use the slide hammer, and it effectively pulled out the dent. I used some screws at a minimal cost. A body shop had deemed it unrepairable and provided a quote of $800 for an aftermarket body part and paint. This solution turned out to be much more affordable!
Included attachments were too large for what I needed.
both pry bars would not thread into adapter for use. Poorly milled.
