I spent way too much time using a hammer drill and going through carbide bits before I bought this. It took me about 20 minutes to accomplish a job I easily had spent two and a half or 3 hours on. I won't use it a lot but it will definitely come in handy for chipping out concrete when needed. I saw a few people used it for digging hard ground. I'd never thought of that and maybe I'll put it to use during that as well. definitely worth the money I paid
Tool was better than expected for the price. I used it to remove some old fence posts and it definitely save my back. It made quick work of the old concrete. The plastic case was banged up as stated in the add but that was no problem as I typically throw the away anyway. I will be using the jackhammer a lot as I continue to upgrade my fencing
I bought this jackhammer to take out a chuck of concrete leftover from a flagpole installation. The concrete chuck was approx 3 ft deep and 2 ft wide and was buried flush to ground level. I had never used a jackhammer before and didn't know what to expect. However, to my pleasant surprise I was able to exact the concrete in about a hour. I am a 70 year old man with limited strength. The weak link in this operation was me and and not the jackhammer. So a younger man would have finished in half the time. The hammer and attachments come in a really nice storage case. For the novice user the hammer and price is a good, value.
Works better than I thought it would. Went through 4 inches of concrete with no problem. The manual needs to have the instructions about adding the oil before use in large bold letters on the front page. The manual didn't have what type of oil to add. Luckily I was trying to find what type of oil to use and found the section, in very small lettering, that you must add oil before use. I had to go to utube to find the type of oil.
Did the job fine with no issues. It is a quality built item and I truly feel I got my money's worth.
Better than expected and good value. Broke up a 4" thick slap in no time. Having used a very heavy industrial one in the past this one does bounce a little more being lighter at just under 50 lbs but it does surprisingly well.
This jackhammer works great. Busted up 3in slab, and 5 concrete steps. If this guys ever burns out Ill upgrade to the higher watts. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Arrived early. Plenty of power. Works great. Need to specify type of oil though and highlight importance of adding before use. Suggest bold red lettering in users manual and on box!
This this is amazing we bought it to take out a old set of brick and concrete steps and this thing took out the rows of brick in 1 to 2 pieces. It took us literally less then a half hour from recieving the package to having all the brick off. The case is nothing special but it holds it and thats all i really cared about. We took a chance because this was the same cost of renti g a jackhammer for a day and it was 100% worth it.
works grear
