If you are Installing or Buying a pool pump yourself, don't make the mistake I did. Make sure you know the diameter of the connections. Its either 1.5 or 2 inches. I bought the 1.5" and had to return and replace with a 2" model which Walmart accepted with no questions asked. I bought the variable speed rather than the single speed as I will save about 50% on my electric bill. There are 4 speeds with this model that you can program. I learned this from buying a variable speed for my AC. Huge difference in electric cost! If you are reading this than you already know that other competitors selling pool pumps are super expensive. Lesley's is $1500 more. Pinch a Penny is also $1000 more. Because this model from Walmart was less than $400 with tax, I also bought the 4 year warranty for $48. Worth every penny. Why, last year I bought a single speed 1 horsepower pump from Doheny online for $150 and it stopped functioning 9 months into ownership. It came with a manufacture 1 year warranty that was a joke. They offered $30, if I shipped the broken pump back. Shipping was $45 so it was a rip off. I didn't send it back. Cost me more than warranty rebate. Bottom line, do your research. Don't let your pool guy buy the pump; it will cost you Thousands to purchase and install. Rather Pay him $200 to install once you purchase it from Walmart. Pennies saved makes you a vacation earned!!!
Works great, super quiet, easy to operate and install. What's not to like about this pump. At this price it's perfect.
Best pump I have ever owned. Never had a pump motor that runs this cool. Over years this 3rd pump I have owned. Im 80.
great pump ,works fine ,easy to install, love it,
Item arrived like it was used and missing screws
The pool pump worked great, for six months. Then it just quit working. I tried calling the company but the message says to email them because of high call volume. They never responded. What a crap company and to Walmart, who I ordered tikis pool pump through.
The pump is missing the lid oring and the Customer service on line are pathedic i can get a oring sent to me because the order no is wrong I will never purchase this pump thru wallmart again WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!
Stopped working after about a week!
Nice looking pump….to bad it doesn't work! Circuit board did not work rendering the whole thing a. Large paper weight. Now I have to pay for the pool company install with no results. My pool took a beating after Ian. Company wants to argue over email back and forth so I'm returning and going a different route.
Sent wrong pump that was cheaper and it doesn't work.
