[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the original duet from soon after it was released and finally retired it because it didn't have enough RAM to keep up. The new one is a great replacement. Faster, more RAM and even came with the pen. My only gripe is that the magnet that keeps the keyboard closed is stronger than the one that holds the back and kickstand on. But that is minor. This thing is good for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Duet 3 for my wife as a replacement for my old MacBook Pro that she was using. This is our first Chromebook and we have never used Chrome OS before. I will say I am very impressed by the quality of the device and OS. I was considering buying her an iPad and and keyboard instead, but the Duet surpasses the iPad in hardware and specs for the money. She only uses computers for emails, browsing, and documents, so this met all those requirements. The screen looks great and the keyboard surprisingly types well. The only issue is that sometimes the keyboard can sometimes take a couple tries to reconnect after removing it. Either way, I don't regret picking this over the iPad.

It's very laggy and slow and the screen display doesnt work the way the instructions say. Display suddenly stopped working on week 2 and I jury rigged it. For the price it's cheaper than other tablets but for projector needs youre better off with a fire stick or Roku. For the purpose of projector display it is barely acceptable but will not purchase again.

I've repeatedly run into an unaddressed bug where the touchscreen stops functioning after the tablet goes to sleep. At least save the packaging, so that you can return it if necessary.
