I can't believe how great this dash-cam is! I got this and was very skeptical about it because I have owned a few dash-cams that were not the best. They would quit working after a short time if they worked at all or recorded video that couldn't be downloaded to a computer. This camera is one of the finest that I have seen and records in 4K! The phone app that can be used with it is great and you can see just what the camera sees through the app on your phone! It also has built-in GPS with location tracking. After using this for a little while now I am very impressed and the set up was very simple to follow.

I've used dash cams for quite some time. They're great for capturing beautiful scenery on country roads. Having a Jeep also adds a bit more options for seeing more of nature in your videos. They're also great for capturing people doing stupid things because they think nobody's watching. Most importantly, they're instrumental in accidents to prove fault when you don't know who to believe. Most just come with micro SD slots but require software on your computer to transfer or even play the videos. This one has its own WiFi that enables you to simply download any video on your camera directly to your phone for ease in sharing or keeping videos for personal use. 4K video allows you to see license plates and fine detail in faces or objects. The ability to take 12MP photos is also great. I already had a dash cam installed with the same cable connection so I only needed to remove the other one and place this one where the other was. Looks great from the outside as well. Displays time and date as a screensaver when parked and also while driving. Doesn't automatically display the images unless you're recording but after recording it goes right to the time and date. I still haven't figured out how to check for software/firmware updates, although I'm hoping that it updates in the app and then automatically transfers to the camera when connected. Wide angle shows more of what's in front of the lens. Coolest dash cam I've ever had! If you're considering getting one, I suggest you get one of these. GPS coordinates allow precise location info and G sensor sensitivity can be adjusted from low to high to capture video if your vehicle is hit while parked. Records audio as well so if you speak the license plate numbers of a car not in view then you can refer to that later. I love this camera!

I was pleasantly surprised with this, my first dash cam. It's very small. The cord is very long which is good because my plug-in port is in the console. Images are crystal clear and there is no shake to the video. It captures video and sound. It comes with a 16 G Mini Sd card but can take up to a 128 G mini-SD. I have it set for 1 min increments, it can be set to 5 , 1, 3 or 5 min. The mounting was hard to figure out. It says to mount it up near the rear-view mirror out of the line of sight on the windshield and route the cord through the headliner and/or pillars. Surprisingly it doesn't have a suction cup, just an adhesive which is peel and stick. It holds really well but I might have preferred a suction cup. I'm not sure how you would remove the mount to relocate it or if another adhesive pad is available. The mount has the female USB-C port, and the camera plugs into it. The camera can be removed by unplugging it from the mount. The angle is awkward. See the video, I got some of the hood and wipers in the frame, but the wide-angle lens captures the entire road view. The downloadable phone app connects, and you can see the video live while driving but the camera must be on, to use the app. It also has a battery charge light, but I keep it plugged in all the time and when disconnected , mine doesn't turn on, so I don't know how the battery works. Recording starts automatically when you start the car. There is also a G mode ( gravity) that if it senses a jolt like a collision, it will take a still or stills? automatically. After the record time increment the display just shows date and time until I press the Wi-Fi button again, then it displays live again. It also says you can view and playback from your phone. There is no rear camera , it says you can buy a rear facing cam and there is a tiny port on the camera for attaching it. It took a few tries to get it paired and to find the network but once done it is fine It automatically starts when you start the car. I haven't discovered all the features yet but for simple recording while moving its great.

I haven't used the product yet. It will be given as a Christmas gift. But it did ship quickly

I received my Yada RoadCam 4K UHD Smart Dash Cam. I understand that my car insurance will be reduced with this dash cam use. With the way things are today, a dash cam is a must – not to mention fun to use!! You can see some pretty wild stuff while on the road!! I love reviewing the data. The cam has a 3 LCD, wide dynamic range of 150 view, a GPS, G-Sensor, loop recording, park and record mode, and built-in Wi-Fi for using with the downloaded Wireless Yada Drive app. The camera is small and light. It has a very clear and crisp resolution. Wifi set up was a little difficult and may been related to my wifi service. The camera itself was very easy to install. You will just need to decide where to put it. I like that I can see onscreen action. It comes with a 16GB sd card to record to. No need to remove the card to see the rides. Love that. It also comes with a cord to plug into your port in your car. The app makes the dash cam easy to manage and keep up with your rides. Mine starts as soon as I get in the car! This would make a great gift also!

I've never had a dash cam before so I was excited to get this. Right now we're in the process of buying a new car so we didn't stick it on the windshield. The clarity of this dash cam is really good. Setting it up was a little confusing but managed to figure it out. Plugging it into the cigarette lighter was a little difficult but I forced it in. Taking it out was a little difficult too. Directions are fairly easy to understand. Can't wait to get it in the new car. But pretty impressed with it.

This car camera is very, very easy to install. I am not a technical or mechanical person by any means. When I first got it, I was worried that I would have to get someone else to install it for me, but it was very easy. Just stick to the window with the enclosed materials, and plug into the DC 12/24V (adapter included). After that, turn it on, download the app, and connect the WiFi, which is very simple with the enclosed directions. Make sure you have WiFi enabled on your phone. The picture is SO CLEAR (I have added two photos, one with the camera itself, and one a screenshot from the app on my phone), it's beautiful. As we were riding along, I was watching my screen (I wasn't driving!), and was so impressed with the view. It has a wide-angle view, too, so you would be able to see anything coming at you from around the front of your vehicle. I really like that it loops, so if you run out of memory on the SD card (which is enclosed, you do not have to go buy one to even be able to use your camera), it will just record over old files instead of stopping. You can also mark certain files to not be recorded over. It has something called a G-Sensor which will activate if you have a traffic incident, so you automatically get a recording. This is a very nice, cute, easy to use camera!

Doesn't have very high GB card capacity.

This dash cam is for permanent installation using a strong adhesive and long wires. I prefer a device that is easily removable so I can move it from one vehicle to another. The WI-FI feature seems cumbersome and an overkill, I prefer to remove the SD card and use a card reader to transfer videos whenever is is necessary. I attempted to adapt the device so I could use it but the unusual configuration makes it impossible in my case. I have a smaller and simpler dash cam with a simple suction device, like all the other dash cams I have seen, which I can remove in order to hide it when I am parked. This might be a good item for some applications such as fleet uses or maybe a motor home. I was never able to program it so I can't speak as to the technical features. It does comes well packaged, you almost have to destroy the package to get the dash cam out.
