Rooster Tail for the WIN
Rooster tails are consistent, fish catching magnets. Try all colors to see what they are biting at the time. We use them primarily to catch rainbow trout and small mouthed bass. I find the 1/8 oz to be just the right size for a slow retrieve. Move up to a 1/4 oz for a farther cast and a faster retrieve. The fish cannot resist movement of the Rooster Tail!

If you haven't been fishing rooster tails for years, it's time to start; and with the new colorways and UV coatings, they're just getting better. Competition from other brands has Yakima stepping up their game and I love it. I'll always have a few rooster tails in my bag no matter what I'm targeting.
