This kit is really nice for a beginner. I did break two needles the first time but that is normal for beginners. The wooden handle holds a needle in it. Just take out the peg part and flip it so the hook part goes inside the handle. You will need more felt as you learn.

For beginners, this kit offers a nice array of wool colors and tools. Anyone interested in the craft will need a better pad to felt on than the piece of foam included. I paid fifteen dollars for the kit in 2026, and at that price point, it is a very nice deal. The wool is in small amounts suitable for small projects only. Excellent for learning the basics and to see if it's something you'll want to get into more seriously or not. Kit includes 4 small but useful felt templates. I suggest watching several needle felting videos to start. It's a peaceful hobby with practical uses beyond making felt animals. Do wear the finger protectors!

This felting kit came at the time that was said. It was packkage well, coming in a box to make sure all the contents would be safe . I was really excited seeing everything that came with this kit . Love all the wool colors and that each color came in little zip baggie. Looking forward to get back into my felting hobby. With all the pretty colors of wool it's getting my crafting mind to working on a new project. Very happy with this purchase .

I am teaching Middle School students to needle felt and doing it on my own “Dime” because the budget was already gone. This is perfect to help me supplement my supplies. Could event use damaged or seconds! 😎

I like the variety of colors though not much by way of quantity it give me an idea of what I like and would buy in the future in volume. I am just starting this craft so it is nice to have a kit with the components all in one set at a reasonable price.
