Excellent yam .. just as the island kind. Like soft white yam. Great for soups and as an accompaniment to any dish with stir fry vegetables or gravy!

ROTTEN YAM
I AM OUTRAGED AND DISGUSTED by Walmart. How dare they see me rotten food that should be disposed to my door. I AM FURIOUS. This is unacceptable. The green acres store manager should have their personal shopper verify the items before delivery. This picture was taken on the day after it was delivered. I wish I read the reviews first.

There were many reviews of people saying what they got was either already spoiled or just regular potatoes. I was hoping I’d get lucky and be one of the few who actually got the yams they ordered but nope I got more potatoes.

Rotten Vegetable
The ñame was rotten you could see it open had a very large soft spot which means is rotten. Ñame is a hard root vegetable. All inside was dark brown when the color is white or very light beige color. I gave it one star because you are required, to do so but it should have been negative 10 stars.

Always rotten
Everytime I buy this it’s always 50% or more rotted. This has happened so many times I just have to write a review so other people know it’s not worth buying them. I do always ask for a refund which is granted. But still very frustrating when I need one for my meal.

ONE STAR FOR THIS ITEM. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE RE
I ORDERED YAMS, AND THERE WAS A SUBSTITION. I WAS PREPARING A YAM CASSEROLE FOR A CHURCH DINNER. TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT, I HAD BEEN BROUGHT YUCCA - FIVE LARGE TUBERS THAT NEITHER TASTED NOR COOKED LIKE YAMS. FORTUNATELY, I WAS ABLE TO FIND YAMS AT THE GIANT.
