Yamaha YPG-235 76-key Portable Keyboard

a 16th birthday gift for my grand daughter. She loves it and plays it every day. The same keyboard her choir teacher has so she's comfortable with it Her practice at home' using the same keyboard guarantees a good performance in choir. Wife is so pleased to have this Yamaha organ. So many features it will take her a long time to get acquainted. And she is looking forward to helping the grandkids learn to play. So glad it came to the club for free pickup too. Wasn't there at first and I wonder if they check what someone is interested in and then make it available. Picked up a Yamaha pedal at Walmart at a good price which has added to its versatility.

This was a Christmas gift for my 12 yr old son. He loves it! It was bigger than I was expecting, but luckily we found the perfect place for it in his room. He hasn't stopped playing it since he opened it. My two younger children are also taking great interest in the new piano. I love that the keys are touch sensitive. It has a wonderful realistic sound to it. And the nice part is the volume is adjustable so it is a more pleasant sound in the house while my kids practice songs. I would highly recommend, even though I am definitely not musically inclined. I am impressed that for such a reasonable price you get a great product.

I had been shopping for a reasonably priced piano as a gift, when I found this full-function, 76-key keyboard that is so compact that it barely leaves a footprint in the room. It is lightweight and can be folded up for storage or transported somewhere else. A stand is included. It has a lot of function for the price and definitely superior to a large, heavy, dust-collecting traditional piano!

Replaced an older (10+ yrs) 66 key Yamaha with this 70+ key model. Despite many improvements the price in real dollars about the same...or even less. Overall, a good buy.

Keys with natural fee. Compact. Great sound.education manual for beginners. Would recommend for kids or adults who want to learn to play. Musical background is helpful but probably not necessary. Nice stand included.very portable.

We like to go with a group to bring sunshine into homes of elderly people by singing for them. This piano has awesome sound for a small living room and doesn't require that I find a power outlet. One person can carry the piano and another the accessories. You can play it sitting down or standing. Although the keys are not weighted, they have a mechanism that gives you some tactile response. You won't find anything better under $400.

This keyboard has a wide variety of sounds. The speakers produce a decent sound, although you may want an amp. The keys feel very similar to keys on an actual piano. The stand that comes with the keyboard is not very sturdy, and doesn't actually attach to the keyboard.

I purchased this keyboard for my Granddaughter as a Christmas present and she loves it. It's really to early to tell if it will hold up to an 8 year old but it seems to be doing fine now. I used the click and pull set up at my local Sam's club and that worked fine. I bought the item on line and picked it up the next day at the club.

Great Xmas present. However, the product does NOT include power supply with purchase. I would expect Yamaha to include power supply with their product for the price paid. For example, I purchased a baby toy for $20 and it includes power supply and rechargeable batteries. I had to purchase an survival package and push back the enjoyment of the Xmas gift.
