Took me way to long to jump on this band wagon. I never understood the appeal but now I realize I was dumb before. I've caught everything from half pounders to my current PB at 5.1 on these suckers. If you don't have a pack in your tackle bag, you're wrong.
What's not to love about the Yamaoto Senko? It is a proven lure that catches fish. I usually fish it as a weightless wacky worm, weighted-weedless wacky worm, and texas rig. You can't go wrong with tossing a senko when nothing else is working for you on the water.
For the past two years my clients have enjoyed pitching 4" green pumpkin Senkos to weedline walleye on Oneida Lake. I use the Owner Bullet head to rig it needless. Our best presentation is using short hops through the vegetation along the bottom in 8 to 12 foot. July., August & September are prime time for this bite
I have been using Senko's for years, but mostly the 5" size. I have caught fish in 6 states and have 1/2 of all the colors. In the past 3 years I have begun using the 4" Senko and now are catching more numbers and still catching the big ones! Best soft plastic stick bait by far! Baby Bass is now my favorite color.
Best plastic worms for bait, very durable
The Classic. Rig it wacky. Throw it around wood. Let it sink to the bottom. It won't make it there. Gets bit when nothing else will. Watch any of the bass episodes of Field Trips with Robert Field and you will see it catching fish.
Bass can be finicky eaters. So colors and sizes of lures make a big difference. Yamamoto 4” Senkos trigger those bites. So many styles cover all kinds of water clarities. Thier Gooseberry Laminate is my favorite
I always have a Yamamoto 4 inch Senko tied on whenever Im bass fishing. A Senko will produce when nothing else will. Yamamoto has some Awesome fish catching colors offered in the 4 and 5 inch Senko as well as in there other styles of baits. Thanks for a great Product!!
If there was ever the ultimate "do all" soft plastic, the 5" Yamamoto Senko is it! There are a ton of ways to rig these lures, they are available in every color and size you could want, and they simply catch fish! Nothing beats the original Senko, and I've tried them all! If I had to pick a single lure to catch a fish for the rest of my days it would be a wacky rigged 5" senko. Let's go!
Stock brighter colors more often please. Dark colors don't get hits in dark or stained waters unless you put in front of a fishes face
