What's not to love about the Yamaoto Senko? It is a proven lure that catches fish. I usually fish it as a weightless wacky worm, weighted-weedless wacky worm, and texas rig. You can't go wrong with tossing a senko when nothing else is working for you on the water.
Took me way to long to jump on this band wagon. I never understood the appeal but now I realize I was dumb before. I've caught everything from half pounders to my current PB at 5.1 on these suckers. If you don't have a pack in your tackle bag, you're wrong.
Purchased 3 pkg , fished a tournament , caught so many fish I only had 2sencos left , ordered 5 bags for next trip , excellent fishing bait , fish won't let go , so don't count on getting your worm back after it gets mauled by a bass , love fishing this product…
The Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits Senko is hands down the #1 soft plastic for bass fishing. I have 100% confidence anytime I tie one on. I usually rig it weedless with a 4/0 hook and fish it through lily pads, weeds, and heavy cover without issues. The salt infused into the plastic really makes a difference. I truly believe bass hold onto it longer, which leads to a much better hookup ratio. The action and fall rate are hard to beat. My advice: buy the bulk pack because you're going to catch a lot of fish with these!
My review will have to be about appearances only as I live in Sewickley Pennsylvania probably won't be on the water until March or April. Yamamoto Senko is tied on and on my deck everywhere I go. I'm anxious to try out the other designs as soon as I can get out.
I have been using Senkos for well over 20 years. There are many baits similar, but not many have the shimmy when used weightless wacky rigged. They are softer than most others, but easily fixed using Mend-it glue for soft plastics.
The Classic. Rig it wacky. Throw it around wood. Let it sink to the bottom. It won't make it there. Gets bit when nothing else will. Watch any of the bass episodes of Field Trips with Robert Field and you will see it catching fish.
Yamamoto Senko soft plastic stick baits are my go-to for bass fishing. So many colors to choose to fit any type of water clarity. Best of all is it's versatility.
Bought these a little while ago I love them using some 3/0 hooks and watermelon senkos I caught a 4 pounder and a bunch of 2 pound bass there amazing and I love them so much would definitely recommend
The Knarly Senco for Neko purchase. I thought that was my purchase title??? Anyhow, 190 Sencos, 15 different colors. Honestly I haven't tried color in this purchase. How ev er, all those colors tried have caught. Some more, some less. Primarily rigged Neko style, sometimes Wacky, no weight. I did the Senko, not for just fishing, but for catching.
