This mower is exactly what I needed it to be. I don't have acres of lawn to mow, so I was looking for a cheaper mower that can get the job done. This mower is exactly that. It's easy to operate and easy to start up. The only thing that I have changed is the blades, and that is simply due to preference and not performance.
so it works fine hopefully it'll last this is a diff brand for me but my 2nd mower the 1st mower i bought only lasted about a couple yrs hopefully this one will last longer 🙏 my girl likes how easy it is to start pull but I dont like how overpriced it was and the shipping and handling was trash the mail service had very poor shipping and handling my box was all beat up had a bent part on the mower i forced it back so for the poor shipping and overpriced chrg you only get a 3stars
This mower broke during its second use. Seems like a faulty engine part. Probably a lemon. Thankfully Walmart has a great return policy. For context, the previous Yard Machine mower I owned (w/same B%26S engine) lasted many years without any problems; It has been my favorite mower.
The lawnmower will not start. We followed instructions and even went on YouTube to figure out what's wrong. Still not working.
The first time I tried to crank this mower it wouldn't start then the string broke! I installed everything correct so it's definitely a faulty product! I bought this particular mower because I had one prior, even though I read bad reviews! Never again! Now, I have to take it apart and repackage it to return! How inconvenient!
I have had this mower a little over a year and have only used it 3 times because I normally use my riding mower. Yesterday, I went to use the mower and it would not start. I then replaced the spark plug and cleaned the carburetor and it still wouldn't start. This purchase was a total waste of money and I do not recommend this product!
Bought this and picked it up. 2 hours later I went to mow and after mowing 1/2 my backyard I stopped to get a drink. I shut it off. When I went to start it the pole you have to hold down to start it and make the blade run had broke and was loose and would not let me start the mower again. I went to return it and the service desk person told me I had to drain all the fluid from it(I left it in my car because I knew I couldn't bring it in with gas in it) after talking with a manager they returned it and had me drop it off outside by the automotive center so just know your store may make you drain fluid if you return it.
Very disappointed in this mower...I have had at least 2 before this one from HD and they were amazing... this one I got in May 2024 and it is already falling apart. The blade continuously comes loose and that is NOT safe at all. If I could return for a refund I would do it in a heart beat....very unsafe lawnmower. Not happy at all with it.
Bought a mower online and drove the 20 miles to the store to pick up. The next day when I unpack it I notice the oil dip stick is missing. Called Walmart and instead of just giving me the dipstick out of the other identical mower in the store I had to drive the 20 miles back to the store and do a complete return of the mower which in itself is a hassle because I had to run down someone who actually worked in customer service then wait for that person to have a phone conversation with someone else then wait for a reply. Finally we completed the return then had to go to Lawn and garden and get another mower and haul it to the checkout row. When she rang up the new mower she said that because I was not buying it online as I had the original mower, I was only able to buy a 3 year warranty and not the 4 year that I had purchased originally.. I think at the very least Walmart owes me compensation for the 6 extra gallons of gas I burned having to return and 2 hours of my time which is as valuable to me as theirs is to themselves plus an additional one year of extended warranty as was the original deal whether online or not. The mower itself I must say works great so at least some good did come of it all in the end.
I disliked the fact that I picked up my merchandise and they gave me a used returned item with gas in it. it was awful. When I took it to customer service they called the manager and she assumed that I had taken it home and returned it in that condition. She was very unprofessional. I had to tell her twice that I was given this item as is and never took it out of the parking lot.
