This is great poultry netting. It comes in a tight roll held together by a single wire and nothing else. No tools are needed to remove the wire, which is tucked in to hold it together. The poultry netting was packaged securely so it didn't arrive having any dents in the roll.
worked as advertised exactly what I needed to protect my garden
I got this to put on my picket fence because one of my dogs can squeeze out between the pickets. I no longer have to make sure I am constantly watching the dog because she can't get out now. It's flexible enough to be easy to use and sturdy enough that it doesn't sag and droop. I got this large roll for $35 so thought that was quite a bargain as well!
Sturdy, well made poultry wire at considerably lower price than at the local hardware or farm store. It even comes wrapped with a good length of single strand wire which, if carefully removed, can be reused to attach the netting.
Worked exactly as expected.
Fast shipping, tightly wound roll. The BEST price I could find on the internet. High quality and perfect to line a split rail fence.
So far the product seems to be what we need and at a great price. Immediately after ordering the product I received an email from the seller providing me with their contact information in case I had any questions. I thought that was awesome! Then after I receive the product today, I had a question and emailed them back and they had no record of my order even though they emailed me right after ordering. After several attempts by providing additional information, it ended up by them giving me the contact info for another company to call since they could not help me or find the order or even provide an answer after sending them a photo of the item and details from Walmart.com. Very odd since Walmart obviously notified them of the purchase in order for them to have emailed me initially. That was either poor customer service or the person was brand new or never trained and I was there very first solo call. As many of us do, I resorted to Googling the question and finding the answer. Go figure that was less frustrating and more helpful than their customer service.
Packaging claims is 3'x150', so good so far... Package was left by road, not on my property, so that fails! I mean seriously, porch pirates are abound everywhere and this fedex driver doesn't care enough to deliver the package as contracted! SAD!
This is not chicken wire in any way shape or form. the holes are huge. large chicks can slip through it and any predator can get in. In all my years, I've never seen wire like this. Even 2 month old chicks or ducklings will get their heads through these holes and end up stuck and break their wings. I'm very disappointed that I waited all week for these rolls to get here and its this cheap-whatever it is-not chicken wire.
It says that this wire is strong, but flexible. It is flexible, alright, but not strong. I got it to line the bottom of my polyethylene dog fence because my small dog was chewing through the fence. I figured he would not be able to chew through chicken wire, and it said it was "strong". However, he doesn't have to chew through it, all he has to do is pull on it and it comes all unraveled, and then he can chew through the other fence, If you want to use this to keep animals out of your poultry, or rabbits, any dog could get through it. It will confine your small animals in just fine, but I would not trust it to keep other larger animals out.
