no chicken will ever escape this fence. The holes are perfectly placed to ensure the protection of the birds. Most chickens cannot fly 4 feet up to get over it.
exactly as advertised and very quick delivery - reasonably priced
Just what I was looking for & what a deal!
This wire fencing is thin. I am using it for a chicken yard. It will work just fine but if you are using it for different purposes, keep in mind it can be easily chewed and bent. Great price and fast shipping! #sweepstakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is chicken wire. At 1", it's small enough to keep baby chickens enclosed. It's very thin and not really meant to be a stand-alone fence. If t-posts are used, they should have 5' of post above ground, otherwise this 'netting' will not hold it's shape and fold over like a wet noodle, but that's what chicken wire does so not a bad review of this particular product. If used as a stand alone fence, a wire along the top helps it holds it's shape with tall t-posts every 6'. We used this against cattle paneling, lining chain link fence and other forms of sturdier fencing. We didn't really use this as a permanent fencing by itself, as our goats (enclosed with the chickens) would mowed it over and eaten it in a second. I did use it temporarily as a stand-alone fencing to enclose babies but it didn't keep it's shape well and doesn't winter over. We also used it to enclose certain plots in the garden to keep chickens out. It's tallness ensured that they couldn't fly over it and destroy the baby corn, blueberries and tomatoes. In summary, it's flimsy fencing but essential if you have a large 'free-range' flock of porch poopers, planning on isolating baby chickens from the rest of the flock and have a garden.
Ordered for a unique home project. Nice to receive it at the front door without having to lug it home. Free shipping was great.
We are buying our second roll, but one should know this is lightweight and the openings are big enough that the bunnies go right through it without slowing down. The price is fair for what we ended up with.
Exactly as described. Using it to keep critter out of my garden.
This wire is fine for, well, chickens. Thin vs others I've bought before. I bought it to reinforce a wooden fence where little dogs were pushing thru a weak and cracked area. They promptly went to same hole and literally chewed and scratched a softball-size hole in the wire itself. Not good for my application.
good enough for a temporary job but very flimsy metal. Plus item was to have been a 2 day delivery that took 5 days to receive. Wasn't happy about that.
