YARDLOCK Keyless Gatelock, Secure Gate Lock (MBX-2016Y-3ESF)

Excellent product. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy to install but effective gate lock. No electronics to break. No batteries to replace. Great product.

Works as advertised and gives everyone a sense of security.

I've now installed 5 of these in both my own home and for clients They really are clever and work well. Easy to install and do the job. The gates are secure and no worrying about having another key or providing one for the gardener. Very convenient and well- made.

Lock works well as long as you make sure everything lines up properly when you close the gate. My son installed it with a little problem with the wire (too thick for the hole in our fence) and the clip that holds it broke. However after a trip to Rona for a new clip and wire it was all good.

This is my 2nd yardlock. The 1st one lasted about 8 years, and kept on falling open and unlocking the gate. I installed it upside-down, which fixes two design problems with the yardlock -- the lock will now fall closed; and the shutter for the combination also closes with gravity. The only thing is the numbers on the dial are upsidedown. I don't know why Yardlock just doesn't make them this way (ignore the old lock on the door, that pre-dates my 1st yardlock, and i just left it there because otherwise i'd have a hole in the gate)

Really need to highlight the crticality of removing the rubber piece when moving to Learn position. L9ck is great, installation directions really need to focus on the lever better

You need to enhance the instructions regarding the learning button. Put inbold letters to remove the rubber cap and replace when done. The lock is great, if you can get installed.

This seems to be the best and maybe only option for a lockable gate that can be easily opened from both sides. It was pretty easy to install, I watched a video before since I'm not very handy. It isn't very visually appealing though, hopefully they'll come out with a different style eventually.

Fence installer mounted the device, first he had encountered. Lock captures the striker easily. I've not secured the combination, just let the closed housing deter evil-doers. I am trying to improve the inner release to avoid the lever action. First idea failed and extreme cold sidelined my plotting.

Highly recommended. I've had a Yardlock on my garden gates in Vancouver for around 6 years. The locks are very convenient and have been reliable. The only upkeep has been infrequent cleaning and perhaps some lube every few years. My kids could easily operate them once they were tall enough to!
