Ok I have owned a Craftsman 26" twostage for 29 years and gave it.to my kid, and purchased this 28" Yardmax yb7285 and I am hoping to keep it just as long. Overall it seems good, but I have already had to fix issues only after 3 or 4 uses, The problem was dealing with the augur's and bearing on the left housing side. I modified the design and got it back working without having to tear it all apart or the other option was to try to return it but i need a snowblower with 5 to 6 inches a day falling.. So while i like it, i think the tolerances were sloppy in the augur area. So far I give it a 3 out of 5.

Beware of shipping times
beware of shipping. was given a date that it would arrive in 6-7 days. it showed up over 3 weeks. walmart was no help. would call and they would say they didn't know where our snowblower was but it wasn't lost.

the drive cable was stiff from the start i used it 3 times last winter. this winter the cable broke and i cant find a replacement for a yard max.

Terrible
It took forever to get delivered. It was damaged when it got delivered. I had a terrible experience trying to return it. I will not be ordering another item like that again
