This is a great tiller for the money- it's done everything I've needed for the yard and garden. It's not as heavy as the old tillers that were made in the U.S. but if you take your time it will get the job done. Be sure to disconnect the oil sensor mentioned in the reviews; it's designed for a level engine platform, and this has a pretty good slant to it- otherwise it will stall out when you engage the tines. When checking the oil I use the depth bar to hold the back up to where it's level in order to get an accurate reading. I don't regret buying this at all, maybe someday I'll find an old tiller that I can fix up but in the meantime this will suffice.
Tiller was compactly shipped, had detailed assembly instructions, nuts and bolts were portioned by step. Started on first pull.. seems powerful for a homeowner tiller and I am looking forward to years of use in the garden
Good price, arrived early, easy assembly and runs great. Motor started first pull and is easy to maneuver thru garden. Works best when soil is already tilled, not sure how it would do otherwise. Satisfied with purchase
Was delivered 7 days early..easy to assemble. Just had to disconnect the oil censer wire.runs great.
Got this tiller at a good price. arrived promptly and sat in its box until this week. Assembly was relatively straightforward. The included fasteners are not the best in my opinion, but they are serviceable. I will be upgrading them to ones that are more to my liking. In particular, since I don't anticipate needing to remove the outer tines much, I will change out the clevis and kotter pins for suitable bolts, lock washers and nuts. Just my preference. Also will change out the clevis and Kotter pin that are used with the depth stake for a quick pin that will be attached to the stake with a small chain so it won't get lost. Again, just my preference. Like some others have others have noted both here and on other sites, my tiller initially wouldn't start or run due to a faulty/misplaced oil sensor. That issue was resolved easy enough. Simply unplug the black oil sensor wire from the yellow wire at their connector. After that the engine usually starts on the second or third pull and runs great. My one concern in regards to the engine is the availability of maintenance parts. Spark plugs are not a problem as in the accompanying literature they cross reference several acceptable ones from several manufacturers. Not so with the air filter. That seems to be an item that you can only get from the manufacturer. Doesn't appear to be an item that I can source locally. insofar as how the tiller performs in my opinion... thus far I think it does well. It tills well and has enough power to do what I need it to do. It is reasonably well constructed and seems to be ready for many seasons of reliable service.
Runs great and made alot better than we expected and thing we didn't like is where the muffler is, my husband burnt his arm the first time he used it.
Seems heavy duty, it is 98cc not 79cc. Box had 2 large holes in it when delivered. opened box and grease stains on botton styrofoam, looks like it leaked a fluid. Broken plastic there too. Put together and discovered the air filter is broken, possibly damaging the carb. Very disappointed. Will be hassle exchangubg for another one.
Nice sized tiller. Putting it together not too much of a problem but may take two people. Putting everything in the right position and still can't get it started. Gas and oil is full but won't start
I would like to comment on the performance of the machine But, I have spent Two days trying to get it started!! I'm in contact with the manufacturer of the engine But, I'm only getting one correspondence per day. This one question, one answer per day may take awhile. I'm still waiting for the first question to be answered. From a visual opinion, the machine looks great! Too bad I can't use it. Send me another review questionnaire later when the machine is running!!
i did everything it said to do and i can not get it started
