i do crochet every day its my favorite hobby. i bought these few weeks ago and now these hooks are my favorite. its good for beginners. the grip is pretty good. i think due to the slicon material makes it comfortable on your fingers even you're holding it constantly. i made my crochet bag using these hooks. they are perfect. i highly suggest you to buy them.

Excellent value, buy easy to grip and hold.. I have arthritis in both hands and had set aside my crocheting. Was so happy and surprised when I picked these up and was able to crochet for hours, no issues, no cramping or pain in fingers. No swelling. The value is amazing, you get a large variety of sizes, smooth tools some I have not used in a while, but will love to become familiar with again. 14 different sizes of hooks, Great for beginners, learning to hold crochet hook. Bonus having a beautiful bag to carry all the hooks and accessories in. In less than three days I started and finished three different projects, that had been sitting in a bag for over a year. Gives you a sense of accomplishment, fulfillment and joy when you're able to give a gift you made yourself.

I would highly recommend the crochet needles.It's comma it comes in its own package that you can take with you when you crochet On the road. What makes it nice with these crochet?Hooks is that it has the larger handles to them which makes it nice for those of us that have artwrite us. The set comes with its own scissors, which makes it nice when you have to travel.That you're not hunting for something to cut your yarn.You already have it with you. They were well packaged

Ordered the smaller set with the bigger hooks. bcoz my plastic hooks broke. This one came neatly packed with all the items and it also includes a cute and nifty zippered pouch!! Hooks seem to be well made and have an amazing grip. Loving it

I purchased this set as a gift for a crafty friend. The range of size of the crochet hooks was very large. My friend absolutely loves the set! She loves the fact that the hook extends all the way through the handle. Not just a tip screwed into a plastic handle. The case is a very convenient size and keeps everything well organized.

It does not come with an F hook but does come with one they are calling size 7, which is in between a G and an H. They are much easier to grip, and my senior citizen hands are not ending up cramping after a long session of crocheting. I will need to find an F hook, though. I mostly use F, G, and H

Crochet hooks love the handles and organized case great value the only thing is the sizes are hard to read but I will put labels on them overall a great product

I'm new to the craft of crocheting and wanted a set that could get me started. This fit the need and the carrying case sold me. The case is perfect: it holds all the items well and it is easy to put away when I'm not actively working. The crochet hooks have a silicone grip that is nice. I had read one review that stated they were plastic but the ones I received have a pleasant grip. My complaint is some of the crochet hooks are not smooth: Two had defects that were literally bumps on the metal. Several other crochet hooks are also not smooth and don't slide with the yarn well like the name brands. I have tried using a nail file to smooth out the bumps but the crochet hooks still don't slide well. Ultimately some of the hooks need to be replaced, but as a starter set most are adequate.

This is actually a really good price for the amount of product you get. It included snippers, I can't remember how many hooks, a cute little bag and several other things. The handle was very easy to hold, and I really appreciated that part of it. The problem that I had with it is that the shaft and head are not completely smooth. I kept splitting my yarn. At first, I thought it was the yarn itself until it was catching and splitting on every yarn tried. Maybe I got a hold of a bad set of hooks? I don't know, but from my experience, I would not buy again. As I said for the price, it is a great deal and I know a lot of people who actually have success with this brand so I am beginning to think it was just my particular set of hooks that were causing so many problems.

I would have given a 5 star review...but I did not get all of the hooks. The set I received is missing half of the stitch markers and three of the hooks that it shows comes with the set. I am very unhappy, mainly because two of the hooks that are missing are the sizes I ordered the set for. I know that people are going to say "just take it to Walmart and have them exchange it" but I can't. I am homebound and can't get to a store or post office to do anything about it.
