I'm very happy with this purchase! Once I let it sit for 36 hours as instructed, I plugged it in, and set it to 60ºF. It only took a couple minutes to hit 60, and it stays at whatever temperature I set it at. The price was definitely right on this quality wine refrigerator, and the shipping was quicker than originally stated. The only complaint I have is how it was packed. Somebody taped the door shut so it wouldn't open unexpectedly, and upon removing the packing tape, it left a sticky film which can't be removed. Also, it's not that "quiet." It does make noise when it turns itself on, but it's no so loud that it's disturbing. I'm so happy with this purchase, that those two issues are not enough to take stars away from this 5-star rating. I'm still more than happy with this purchase!
I've had three wine refrigerators. They hardly lasted a year before they died. None of them would go to the claimed low temperature. This one is fantastic. Within hours, you'll be at 41 degrees. I hope it lasts longer than the others, but from what I've seen so far, it's simply fantastic!!!!!!
It's fantastic! It keeps my wine chilled and emits very little noise. I've seen a number of complaints regarding the clicking sound, however it says to leave it up for at least 3 hours before plugging it in. That's what I did, and it works well! My wine is chilled, and I can fit a 1.5 L on the bottom.
I set the temperature to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, but my glass thermometer and laser thermometer both read 60. I set the fridge to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, waited overnight, and pulled a bottle from the bottom. Both temps were 55 years old. It's not a huge deal. I want 55 and now have 55. This refrigerator offers all of the additional features I was searching for. And at a reasonable cost.
Very great device that is quite simple to set up and use. Based on previous reviews, I was concerned about the noise, but it is quite quiet. As promised, it keeps wines nice and cool. Only nitpik wishes that the temperature light may be dimmed or turned off. Otherwise, I really suggest it!
Liked: It shipped fast, looks nice, was packed securely, seems to cool ok, seems well constructed and only have to screw on the door handle. Disliked. Busted a gut trying to lift it straight out of the box so as not to tilt the compressor, only to have the box separate and fall away so the gut bust was unnecessary. They need to insert a leaflet advising the easy way to unpack it. There is no written instruction manual, just a QR download, although it's pretty straight forward how it works. What bothers me most is that you can only fit two bottles on the top rack as the controls are in the way. If you remove the top rack, you can fit 5 bottles on the middle rack, but 3 have to sit on the other bottles. Along the same lines, the bottom is a basket where the bottles are again stacked on top of each other left to right. They show that in the picture and i didn't think much of it, but in practice, it's a pain. You can't see the labels unless you pull all the bottles out. When moving the bottles, they bang against one another like you might crack one. And when laying bottles in the basket touching each other, some end up with the cork elevated because of the bottle shape, and that is bad for corked wines. So, it's a good cooler if you have 8 or less bottles to store, but for 12, it's too small and crowded. You need a larger cooler or it makes looking for the bottle you want a chore and moving around the bottles is unnerving when they bang against each other.
Not sure how it hold 12 bottles, but since it came with no instructions, I have no idea what to do with this extra hinge or why the shelf racks are the way they are.
It was damaged during shipping... It took some time, but I eventually had it repaired. The door was pulled off, the plastic shattered, and the hinges were twisted. I despise the inconvenience of returning something, therefore I tried my best to just improve the issue. The chiller is operating normally.
Cooled wine but very loud.
So far, so good, until three and a half months later, when the digital reading no longer works. The refrigerator is not listed on the webpage for troubleshooting. The digital refrigerator does not enable you to move it. C and F did not work for me. I can't adjust the refrigerator because it's too chilly. I really like how it turned out.
