We but these potatoes to boil then fry with onions for both breakfast and dinner. We boil them then smash them with butter, milk, salt, pepper and garlic for mashed potatoes or shepherds pie potatoe topping then bake. Very delicious we must say and highly recommend them.
When washed off, poked top, sides, and ends with fork and dried with paper towels, then spray or wipe outside with canola oil and put in air fryer for 30 minutes at 385°, then cut in half and topped with butter, these yellow potatoes are a new family favorite !
I honestly have no complaints about these potatoes. Every time I have ordered them, there have been no rotten potatoes. Not like some of the others I have ordered from Walmart. I will continue purchasing these potatoes. Yes, I would recommend it to customers.
Great price. I use these in so many ways, especially in crockpot meals, soups, smashed with butter and cheese etc. These taste great too. I hate when you get larger sizes and they sprout or get soft before you use them. These go fast. I recommend them.
These yellow potatoes were fresh, clean, and a good size for cooking. They cooked evenly and had a smooth, creamy texture that worked especially well for potato salad. The flavor was excellent, and the 3-pound bag provided plenty for family meals. They are versatile, easy to prepare, and a great value for the price. I would definitely purchase them again.
Good Quality, they usually last 3 - 4 weeks if kept cool, %26 decent taste. They don't have the buttery flavor of German Butterball or Yukon Gold/Gem potatoes, but they are still a good, decent staple in the pantry. I use them from Breakfast to Supper, an all-around product. Overall, a very decently priced product, decent taste, %26 textured product...
potatoes in general over the past 6 years are hit or miss in Americas stores and almost always have a rotting few in the bag that try to tarnish the bunch. the colored packaging is tricky because it helps hide the flaws. the producers of potatoes need our prayers or something to make them great like they were pre-2020. Americans love potatoes! my family loves good quality potatoes!
I tried to order potatoes multiple times and it said they were out of stock and finally my Son went over to Walmart and they definitely were not out of stock ! I have had my orders stolen from me so many times now ,Idk how much longer I will be shopping here . I am a Walmart customer and express my orders everyday and it’s a real problem when I don’t get my order at all. …Karen
When my order first arrived, and I brought the bags in, I noticed a weird kind of chemically smell, but since I had also bought a small waffle maker, I just assumed it was from the plastic or packaging on that. when I got home that afternoon, my kitchen had that chemical smell. turns out it was actually the bag of potatoes that smelled horrible. I washed them well and scrubbed them and they still stunk.
I didn't get a chance to eat any of these potatoes because they went bad too quickly. Within a week, the potatoes were soft and covered with long 'eyes'. I don't have much luck with potatoes purchased at Walmart. I did have luck with a bag of russets.
