easy to install and very bright

Very pleased with product and the delivery
Purchased 20 exterior deck stair lights. Package arrive in a timely fashion. No missing parts. I was amazed at the quality of the cast aluminum casings. Connections worked like a charm. All in all a great online shopping experience.
The directions call for drilling a 1" hole. I found that is to small. I tried 1-1/6" hole and it is still tight and a 1-1/8" hole is slightly to big. I went with a 1-1/8" hole and used RTV to hold them in place. They do look great on my backyard bridge.
Easy to install and look great. Only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars as the instructions say to drill a 1" hole however the measurements in the instructions also say they are 27.5mm wide. This is slightly larger than 1" so needed to get new drill bit. Otherwise no issues with them.
The price was very reasonable, the lights look very good and the shipment arrived very promptly. My only complaint is that you need a special drill bit to be exact which is about $50, so we used the closest one we had and it didn't fit as snug as we would like.
The lights are nice but there is no way to secure them. instructions are worthless. tells you to drill 1" hole but lights do not fit in 1" hole. Had to drill 1 1/8" hole then used a small bead of caulk to hold lights in place. I do like them and they seem well built so I hope they last
The quality is outstanding, as other reviewers have stated, and the installation is crazy simple. I ended up using a 1-1/8 spade bit to drill thru the deck boards; the 1" bit didn't provide enough space to insert the light. The hole is just a wee bit larger than the light, but you can use caulk or silicone to tighten it up. My only issue is that the lights are not as bright as I had hoped they would be, and the illumination is more cool than soft white. Overall, great value and I would buy these again.
