Hello, I indeed enjoy my Water bottle. I've had mines for multiple years. We go everywhere together.. Would love to purchase about purchase 5 of the Chug lid sets due to I have multiple cups where this type of lid I personally (for some reason or another) wear out the lid. I have 2 bottles without/needing lids… Can you please assist me in this cause??? That you.
I got my 18oz Rambler during the pandemic and it's still going strong. Fits any cupholder, any side pocket to a backpack and a car door. The chug cap makes it perfect to swing for self defense too, not that I'd recommend that.
18 ounces is just the right size! Not too heavy and plenty of water to get me through the morning and keep ice cold. I LOVE the Chug Cap because as a woman who is more and more concerned about facial lines, there's no straw so no sucking and getting those sucky lines around my lips! I bought five of these for various people for Christmas and everyone loves them.
So far I'm really liking this bottle. Yetis are always solid, from the actual body itself to the caps and drink spouts. My only complaint is that it doesn't keep ice from melting for as long as Yeti claims. But it's usually long enough so that when I finish the water it's still cold even if the ice is gone. This my 3rd Yeti (the others are coffee mugs) and while they're expensive they're generally worth it.
Would have rated 5. I love it and it keeps my water ice cold all day. The only problem is you have to make sure you wash it at the end of the day because the top cap starts to have a little bit of a funny smell. I think it gets condensation on it throughout the day and starts to get a little musty. Also, you have to kind of hold down the under top so it doesn't come off with the top cap when you drink out of it. So it is a little less convenient to drink out of during hiking, but really not a big deal. Overall, I love this product and I use it most every day. I also recommend the sling for activities like hiking.
I love my Yeti. I have a family of Yeti products, this bottle being the most recent addition. I would've liked more water capacity without sacrificing the bottom diameter in order for the bottle to fit cup holders; nevertheless, it gives me cool fresh water for hours. Don't recommend using water flavors since the grain of the steel tends to stain with the colorant. The chug cap is the best; water flows not splashes.
The only reason it's not 5 stars is the magdock cap I bought to go with it broke. The whole threaded part cracked off in my tiny fiancées hand when she tighten the lid. The original cap you had and the o e with the straw are the only tough ones. All your other caps have been pretty low quality in my opinion.
I love the ergonomics of the 532ml bottle with the chug cap! My only beef with it is that the rubber ring that sits on the bottle when the lid is off which presumably keeps it from leaking gets stinky and I can't seem to get the smell out! Going to try a different style of lid if possible. The mug also seems to hold the smell and taste of whatever was in it previously.
It's a nicely constructed bottle. But if falls short in insulation. Cold drinks with ice in them melt fast and -- just don't stay very cold. It's super disappointing, actually. I have a cheaper double walled tumbler and it keeps drinks much cooler than this. What's nice about this tumbler is the spill proof top and the ability to swap in the coffee lid. But for the main job of keeping cold drinks cold, this is average at best.
I received this as a birthday gift and we already own 4 other ramblers. When I opened it up I noticed that it has a rust spot in the bottom and when I contacted Yeti customer service I was told that it was normal and that I should try cleaning it with abrasive cleaner to get rid of it. I own close to 20 Yeti products from coolers to cups to ramblers and I feel that the quality has really started to go down lately. I have purchased 5 Yeti items over the last year and I have been disappointed by at least half of them.
