Certain rakes make a big difference when raking leaves, and this is one of them, the tines are stiff, but they still have flex to them making it easy to rake big quantities of leaves, attaching just one handle makes it a hand rake, add two more and you are at about 56 inches which is probably good for most people, add the fourth handle which puts you at about 72 inches and you have a long reach rake. The rake head and handles seem to be galvanized making it rust resistant for the weather, plus the gauge of the metal is somewhat thick for strength.
A fine Rake, it has sections that can be added or not used, to adjust the overall length. With all pieces attached the Rake from top to bottom measures about 78 inches or 6 1/2 foot. You can hold this lighter weight rake on the middle section and just slide your hands back to the end of handle for an excellent long reach to rake objects. Lighter weight and nice color scheme, with a quality metal tined flexible head, a yard tool that is enjoyable to use. Has a steel combination 8mm-10mm wrench and a nut driver to attach the single bolt and nut.
very nice rake. I'm not sure how much pressure the aluminum handle will take, but for my use it's perfect. I like that it has an adjustable handle. I did not need the fourth extension . The tines are pretty stiff and they aren't as long as some rakes. I'm not complaining, I like it.
My husband loves this we got it because it breakdown making it easy to store on our rv. It is lightweight, yet very sturdy, the handle can be adjusted for adults or to a child. highly recommend
Good rake, it does exactly what it should do. Easy to assemble. Handle is to long for me fully assembled but it can be shortened. The only downsize is where the rake end attaches is a bit wiggly. It not fall off or anything like that but it does have some wiggle. I may attempt to tighten more but also do not want to break it.
Overall it's a nice rake. o attach the one screw and it is a small enough diameter that replacing it should be easy if it has to be. It took 2 minutes to attach the head. It is ligher weight, has a narrower head and its teeth are hooked more one I had before which I think are advantage . Being able to unscrew the handle means I can store it inside my cabinet instead if hangining it exposes on then wall. The only thing that might be a problem is the metal handle. Let out in sunlight it's going to get hotter than a wooden handle would.
Maybe I'm particularly fussy about heavy duty - for me, that means it's constructed well enough I can see it lasting till my kids are sorting through my belongings, OR I can use it every single day for a decade before needing to replace it. This doesn't feel like it will stand up to that level of expectation. The construction is overall solid, but as I was attaching the rake head (It's shipped in pieces), the metal began to warp without overly aggressive tightening, so I suspect it's unlikely to hold up to the sorts of sticks our trees like to spit onto our lawn along with leaves. The grip is fine, and I do like that the handle is adjustable - this will convert easily from a lawn rake into a shrub rake, and it works just as well for my 6'3" spouse as it does for my 5'6" size. It takes up the expected amount of space in our garage, and I think if you're okay disassembling it, it will work for all small spaces; you could store this in a closet. Will it last forever? No. But what I care about is functionality, and the fact it's made of recyclable materials instead of plastic, and this hits all my MUST-HAVES, so I'm quite satisfied. It was also easy to put together, and no edges were sharp or caused injury. Solid 8.5/10.
Good for small areas. The rake is a little smaller than we thought. The metal should make it last longer than a plastic. Comes disassembled in a box in pieces but not hard to put together
Like new designs of tool handles Easy put together and strong Rake head steel and sturdy Great for cleanup
I believe this can be a great rake. But I am missing a very important part. The "pin, or the nut %26 bolt or the clip" device that holds the rake head to the rake handle. The rake head is strongly made and the four sections that make the handle, are also well made. This order came quickly, but the shipping box had two 3"×4" holes in it. Could my assumed missing part have fallen out of the carton due to the two holes? This rake is simple to assembly, but there were no instructions to show me what the Seller provided to connect the rake head to the pole. I had to put my own nut and bolt to connect the two parts securely, which works but it is not the Seller's part which I assume was to be included in the package. I give this product three stars because of my concerns listed above, but I am hoping thos rake will be a five star in the long run. See my photos.
