I live that the tines are metal, not plastic like my other rake. I am ablecto rake up everything eithout tines breaking off and leaving gaps. Rake is lightweight enough to not strain my back and shoulders, yet gets the leaves, huge pune needles, and spikeballs all at the same time. My yard is so much cleaner and neater with the metal rake that it was with the plastic-tined rake.

I had a similar plastic style rake like this. being plastic the tynes were breaking off. I have used this rake, can shorten the handle if necessary and there is no breakable because it's all metal. I'm glad I purchased this rake as a replacement for the plastic one.

This is a very heavy duty rake, it will get the job done. I used it for several kind of hard tasks that a regular rake would not handle. You will get your money's worth on this one. I love it!

The handle did not fit into the rake head, had to return it back to the store.
