Nice and tacky, average thickness, exactly as advertised.
Just got it. Looks awesome. Will update after use. I like that it's a big one. I practice every day and wanted to spoil myself with long and wide mat.
As a tall person, (6ft) with a long arm span, this is perfect for me. Wasn't super thick so I use my other shorter but thicker mat to support my knees, but other than that, it fits perfectly, doesn't slip and gives me more than enough space
My first experience searching all sporting goods stores for an exercise mat was very disappointing finding foam mats 24" x 72". Being reassured that this size mat was good when using a foam roller for an IT band problem I bought it and a foam roller. I am 5' 8" and 125 lbs. and found the mat was not long or wide enough to use with the foam roller. The mat bunched and moved over the scatter rugs underneath it and started showing small tears on the surface. I found myself off the mat when rolling from knee to ankle for the IT band exercise. I checked back with the store only to be advised to possible perform the exercise in two stages in order to stay on the mat. I searched the Walmart website to find this mat out of stock and asked to be notified when available. Thank you Walmart for carrying a quality mat at a great price and following through as requested. Performing my exercises on this mat with a 36" foam roller is no longer frustrating and much easier and faster...almost a pleasure. : < )
love the thickness. It is great for Yoga and Pilates. I wish you made a smooth one that could be used more for Aerobic activity. I also love the fact that it doesn't have that noxious rubber smell.
This is the perfect size to go under my db method machine and still allow room around it for my free weights and to walk around the machine and still be on the mat. Perfect for what I was wanting
I found this product to be great with plenty of room to do my floor exercises. thick enough to give me padding on the hard floor while doing floor exercises. I have only had it for a week but it seems to be of good quality. If carting around to a class you may want to make some kind of band to keep it rolled up but I use mine at home so no problem for me.
I am 6'3" and can finally make it through a session without all those annoying adjustments to try and fit myself on the mat. It's 1/4" thick, which is nice too as us bigguns tend to have sore knees too, am I right?
I got this yoga mat for my wife who uses it most everyday. She says she likes the size, about 3'x7', but it's sticky and makes her hands sticky - so that's weird. The picture looks like a small blue one AND a larger black one, but you only get the black one.
I bought 2 to create a extra large workout area. The mats maybe great for Yoga/Pilates, but not for aerobics. Wearing sneakers the mats has some kind of sticky/clingy texture to it so when you pick up your feet the mats move as well. Not stable on carpet.
