Yoga Mat Towel Heron Lilac by Gaiam

I've tried a few options, but this is the best one I've found for my Bikram practice. It's very absorbent and doesn't slip much at all. I only bought a second one because after almost two years of washing, the other one got a little stiff. I think two years is a god life for a yoga towel, though!

I've only used it 2-3 times so far, but it has been GREAT thus far. It does not slip or move on my mat and I don't even need to spray it down at all. Maybe because the room is extremely hot (I do hot yoga with it primarily), the towel just sticks to the yoga mat and hasn't moved at all! Its actually somewhat difficult to move as it almost sticks to the mat, which is great, no one needs to be slipping around with all the sweat! AND my lord, I realize now I've been missing out on using a full-size towel...I've always used the rented towels from the yoga studio and they cover like 2/3 of the mat only. Using the full length towel has been eye-opening! With poses like triangle and such, since I'm tall and have a long stance, I don't have to worry about my foot being halfway on the towel and halfway on the mat, which would lead to slippage. Now, fully on the towel i'm solid! Its helped my practice. Lastly, with the full size, I can rest my head and face on the towel instead of the mat when in savasanas (misspelled probably) and not worry about other peoples sweat and grime on the rented mat.....need my own mat soon.

This mat towel is great! It is soft and doesn't leave any imprints when I practice on it like a terry cloth towel would. And it matches my Marrakesh Yoga Mat perfectly!

I use this towel every time I go to a yoga class and it is perfect! It is the correct size and helps my hands and feet not slip. It is light weight and easy to pack. Overall, great purchase!

Super lightweight and great sweat pickup. Minus one star because it doesn't lie flat on the corners where the seams are. Overall it's a great purchase.

I am new to Yoga and was looking for a towel that wouldn't move on the mat. This one does ok. It didn't move a lot but it did move. Wondering if the grip towels are better.

I use this towel to do hot yoga. Although it is very absorbent, it does not stay in place well and crumples up. I had to stop my practice multiple times to straighten out the towel. Moreover, it does not cover my entire mat as it is not long enough. Overall, I am not happy with this towel for the price. If I had the choice, I would not buy this towel again.

The towel does keep me from slipping most of the time during my hot yoga classes, but it bunches up too much and needs to be readjusted a lot.

When I received the yoga towel, it was discolored on the edges that stuck past the packaging and smelled strongly of mildew. I opted to wash it before sending it back because order fulfillment takes forever from this site. That and I didn't want to pay to ship back after paying for shipping and could only imagine that I would have also been billed shipping on a replacement. I got the mildew out but overall, not a great experience.

Did not cling to the mat at all.  I slipped and slid so much that I just rolled it into a ball and threw it in the corner.  It's pretty pricey to use as an ordinary beach towel.
